BEST eBike Channel on YT, as far as level of information, real riding experience, variety of riding, humor,.... EXCELLENT production, all-of-it ! tx beautiful ebike, too? perfect(?) for this ol' N. Italiano cyclist*!! tx *what I don't feel "comfortable" about is NOT-having to actually pedal, which is part of the Fun and Exercise. I'll likely ride AND pedal :-))) just checked...sort of an expensive ebike, imho.
@electrifiedlatina68716 ай бұрын
Wow you just made my day with ALL of your super kind and encouraging words thank you!!! I completely agree with you in that part of the fun is to pedal and get some exercise! I actually pedal this bike a lot- but since this was a worse case scenario range test had to be done throttling around haha! Cool thing is that you can ride this bike however you want 👌 If you take into consideration the specs, components and performance of this bike, it’s actually a great bang for the buck! I hope to continue to see you around! 😆

You’re the only E-Bike reviewer that can pull off arm and shin pads with a sun dress as a fashion statement. 👍 The BMX track looked like a lot of fun. Blew the doors (if it had any) off the Vespa! . That roadracer didn’t like being passed by you, as a general rule I find them rude too. For my self I would trade top speed for more range. Where I’m living now my rides are 20 to 40 miles with a combination of gravel back roads, paved highway, small town streets, horse trails and shared paths in the provincial park. Good “worst” case range test for anyone interested in the E-Cells 5 Star. You’ll have to do a maximum range test next. Thank you for being the E-Latina and Happy Riding.

Woohoo I like the sound of that! Haha it was so fun just flying by the Vespa! That’s a good name for them “road racers” cause that’s what they are! Yay sounds beautiful where you live now Bob! Great mix of riding and how fun to be getting all those long rides! I can see why range is key for you! I will absolutely do the maximum range test next! You’re very sweet Bob- Happy Riding!

thats cool , I noticed on mine the second time i charged it the batt. gauge showed 4 bars but the display showed only 2 bars then after I ran the throttle a minute on the kick stand it jumped up to 4 bars it did show 62 volts . haven't had to charge it again yet. is that typical ? emailed ecells but have not heard back yet bc weekend . other than that now bikes working fine , just a lot i don't know mostly about all the different settings , online manual is confusing 🙃

High quality, entertaining, and informative video, thank you. If you go to c8 on the display and turn it to 1, it displays the motor temp. Are you at all concerned with damaging the motor because of excess heat?
@electrifiedlatina68716 ай бұрын
Thank you thank you and thank you! I give it my all to create these videos for you guys, so being recognized feels amazing! I have been meaning to research on how to turn this setting on, so you read my mind and gave me the answer! I have the same display on another bike and couldn’t remember how to do this! I haven’t been worried about excess heat cause I don’t have prolonged steep hills around my area, but being that it’s now 100 degrees and doing this long range tests, I should definitely keep an eye on it, so thanks for the very helpful tip.

When I do a range test I ALWAYS go by the volts in the battery. So if your running a 60 volt battery ( I'll use a 60 v 16.5 amp battery for an example) 100% bar means 67.2 full on the volts. At 50 % left the volts should be around 57%. 5% charge left would be 49 volts. I hope that most screens would have Volts available to see because that is a way more accurate way of seeing how much power you have left in the battery. They are Voltage charts for every battery out there now. I encourage people to use them. Another good video!!
@electrifiedlatina68716 ай бұрын
That is very smart David! Volts are way way more accurate than battery bars! This is great to know that now there are voltage charts! I will get the word out on my videos and put them up on the screen on my next range test video and thank you! 😎

Can’t agree enough about your rant on the road cyclists. Out of everyone I’ve come across in thousands of miles riding the paths they are the worst. They speed like crazy, maybe 1 out of 5 I encounter are any kind of courteous and they all act like e-bikes are some kind of intruders on their turf.

Hi! 👋🏻 I greatly admire your professional videos! 🤩 I was wondering if you could review the Keteles K800 Pro E-bike, as it is a strong competitor to the Benxi Seeker 24 in terms of design, performance, and speed, with both being similarly priced.
@electrifiedlatina68716 ай бұрын
Hi friend! Thank you so much for your compliments! I did make a video comparison between the Benxi Seeker24 that I own and the Philodo H8 and the Keteles. I just compared them based on their components and specs since I don’t own the Philodo or Keteles. I can tell you right out of the bat that the Benxi is the best one because it has a dual suspension instead of just a front one, it has a 52v system versus the 48v system, a bigger battery 52v25Ah, bigger controllers for more torque and a higher top speed, and finally the option to get it with either 24” and 26” tires. I would like to review it for you, but honestly it would feel like a step down from the Benxi, also Keteles hasn’t contacted me. Are you contemplating in buying it?

@melrobinson69196 ай бұрын
E.L.: The battery level indicator in the display tends to be pessimistic. More accurate is the level indicator lights on the battery. Also, looking at the chart on the Ecells website, 52.2 volts is between 20 and 25% battery remaining. Also, it's a good idea to let the battery rest for a short while with bike truned off and then check the level so that it has a chance to settle after using. I've also noticed a reduction in available power when the battery level is low. Keep up the entertaining videos...😊
@electrifiedlatina68716 ай бұрын
This information is very interesting from the Ecells website! Next range test I’ll turn the bike off to let the battery settle and rest and see if I can get a few more miles. I’m satisfied with the miles I got in the worse case scenario and sounds like I didn’t strain the battery as bad as I thought 😅 I’ll make at least another range test video with this bike. I will keep on rolling ❤

The motor on my Five Star is pretty loud and the faster I go, the louder it gets. It starts to vibrate and makes a high pitched whine. Does your bike do this? Is that normal?
@electrifiedlatina68716 ай бұрын

I am very curious, why did you sell your dual motor Meelod so fast? I’m sure there’s quite a bit of people conflicted in which of the two e-bikes to buy. What exactly has you conflicted about between the two?
@SPEARHEADGLOBAL6 ай бұрын
@@electrifiedlatina6871 meelod ran into so many problems, i keep tightening handlebars and it keeps getting lose, hitting brakes would make those handlebars bend, talking about brake pads, the brake pads of meelod was horrible, got worn off in 200 miles. Plus the bike started making super loud noises at high speed. I decided i will spend some extra bucks and buy something more reliable . What i am conflicted about is the extra range that the new wired freedom gives for additional $400 bucks, is it worth it. I am still more inclined towards wired freedom, bcz i like to go on long range rides.

Your DIM should be set to 29 for an accurate speedometer. Also, you may want to secure your battery keys someplace more secure. I'd hate for you to lose them and then be up a creek without a paddle. 😂.. Great video tho.

66.2v is only a 95% charge on a 60v system. Full charge on a battery like that is supposed to be 67.2 volts. Hopefully its just the display that is inaccurate (which is not unheard of although KT displays have always been pretty accurate in my experience).

Not feeling this style of ebike personally
@melrobinson69196 ай бұрын
I bought two, for the wife and I. The plan is for bike path/local surface street riding, doubtful there will be any off-raoding. The bikes are awesome for our purpose, plenty of power and comfortable with the dual suspension. On level surfaces, PAS 1 is plenty to keep moving with minimal peddling effort. On the many hills around here, PAS 2 or 3 gets me up the hill with not much pedding effort. If my 76 YO hind end feels lazy or if I want to clear an intersection, I use the throttle momentarily and I'm gone. Using PAS 1 most of the time, the battery life is more than I need for the longest ride I would ever take.
