CONGRATULATIONS on getting the greenhouse grant !! Glad to see you Diana !! I was a little worried that your bout with covid was really bad and that you weren’t getting your energy back yet. Our garden didn’t do very well this year either. The only person around here that did have a nice garden has a greenhouse. We didn’t get tomatoes until mid august and not very many. It’s always a dice toss with the garden. My pear trees did well this year. They were sweeter than normal. The raspberry bushes went crazy as well. I have so many frozen, even though we were eating bowls full everday. I have about 20 bushes . I told my husband it’s time to thin them out because nobody wants to come help pick them. I hope you all have a great time with your son and daughter-in-law. Take your camera and if you feel like making a vlog for us i’m sure we’d love to see it. If you just want to chill out that’s fine as well. As long as you make the time about family and having fun is what matters. Sometimes we just need a break from everything just to relax and find some joy. God knows you both clearly need it !! Have a Great week and Thanks for sharing !!

Have fun with your son & daughter-in-law. Gettysburg is about 2-2 1/2 hours from Philadelphia. Awesome news on getting a greenhouse. I think a lot of people didn't have great gardens this year either to wet & cold or to hot & dry no happy medium. Have safe travels and blessings to you and the families. 😊🇺🇲

You're coming up our way near Niagara Falls. On the Canadian side is Clifton Hill and the haunted house is called Nightmares. There's lots to do on the hill. On the American side if you travel to Buffalo (20 minutes from the border) there is the Buffalo Navel Park with The USS the Sullivan's a decommissioned battleship and USS Little Rock a sub. And you can tour it. Enjoy your travels.

Sorry about the garden! Be careful with the parking when you go to Niagra falls. Last year is when we went. So many people were there. There was a lot of construction and road work there that made it very difficult. The main parking area was full so that made it way worse I think. Pack a cooler of picnic stuff and a bunch of drinks. Everything was way over priced there. Take a bunch of snacks. Safe travels guys!

It was hard to grow a good garden in Minnesota too, started out cool, then wet, then very hot, then very dry etc. I did have a good green pepper crop. I'm excited you get to have a greenhouse!! That will be so nice! I'm happy to see Diana, she's looking great, happy and healthy! Yummy snap peas. I hope you are getting some fishing in. Those yellow squash make a good casserole with the zucchini in it. Have a great week, stay safe!!

Nope snap peas don't grow everywhere because I've tried for three years to grow snap peas and I've gotten a whole 4 peas off of my snap peas they always die never had luck with them and this year the garden is so hot here everything bolted I even have beets out there golden beets that have seeds on them my tomatoes are finally starting to ripen didn't think I was going to get any tomatoes either even though I covered my whole garden with curtain shears all summer to try to keep it cool One thing I am getting lots of is different kinds of squash plants lots of squash still growing it's still hot here it's finally starting to cool down this week and it looks like we may get some rain finally it never rains here on Vancouver Island anymore not in the middle part anyway courtney I mean last night in my bedroom was 28 so and it's supposed to be hunting season yeah who goes hunting in 25 not unless you want to get eaten alive by horseflies 26 weather

Down here in the POW area we are just installing our raised bed gardens. Making dirt here takes some work, since the goo between the trees does work, so we found some dirty sand in a stream oxbow, and will mix it with kelp and alder wood chips... Next April we will add some bagged dirt and plant.
