2024 F1 US GP Race Reaction (nothing just an inchident on the race)

Okay I know I'm super late with this one but I was trying to have a social life this week okayyyy
Never a dull moment in the 2024 F1 season. Max once again proves that he knows how to read the regulations, but stewarding was pretty sus in this race, particularly for George's overtake on Bottas (which like first off... why'd you get a penalty overtaking a Sauber).
Meanwhile Ferrari came out of nowhere for the one-two. Lowkey rooting for them to take the constructors now. Punish Lando for not being able to get an overtake done in a non-DRS zone. Seriously dude you gotta get it together.

I think this year is a perfect training ground for lando and mclaren, now they know what it takes to participate in a championship battle. Like lewis in 2021, where he had to polish his fighting skills again.

Yeah I think you’re right. Almost like Ferrari in 2022 too (although idk if you’d call that training - more like a kick in the backside). I think Lando’s concern should be that if his teammate starts the year off better next year and can put in more of a fight, 2024 might have been Lando’s only shot at the championship.

Weird watching with no DR. Happy for Charles. Hate-watching F1 with RB/RBR is stress-free. Lando does the same passes and hasn't learnt. IMO he still doesn't know how to fight similar, unlike Oscar. Max reverting to type with his driving. I've been calling for permanent stewards for years. It's idiotic that the starter and race director are paid but the stewards are not permanent and gratis. At least they can be consistent in their inconsistency. George saying that any fines should go to paying for permanent stewards is genius. I'm over drivers complaining and expecting position gains off-track. Not sure I can take a competent Ferrari. Franco is becoming a favourite for me. Yuki appears to be the adopted child.

Yeah it was different for sure without DR. At least I can stop just watching his onboard 😅 The hatewatching is legendary though! Especially Mexico coming soon...
