Make certain that your seating system (if you have one) is tilted up and seat down. As well, it may be a limit switch having to do with your seating system.

I have a jazzy elite hd that recently had issues with the battery having problems holding charge so I replaced the battery’s and now the motors overheat and the motors don’t have power I want to fix at home can you redirect me to a video to fix this problem thank you.

I have not heard of that as a common problem. New batteries should not affect your motors. Sometimes when the shark joystick goes bad, the unit will slow down. Call if you like, Frank 1800 717 1252

Hi Frank is there a way to tighten up the sloppiness in a joystick on a NE 6 button controller for a pride Quantum J6?

There is, but we do not have the programmer for it. You would need a quantum programmer to change any sloppy parameters. Sometimes it is the age of the chair, and worn out brakes that could make it sloppy (in halting). Thanks, Frank 1800 717 1252

Thank u for the info. I'll get a hold of the repair place I found and see if they can do that or maybe just replace the gimbal, The chair is like 6 or 7 yrs old but the lady who owned it was not very kind to it. Its got lots of scrapes and paint from walls all over the back. Thank you again for responding. 🙏

I have a quantum chair it is about 6 years old it is my favorite chair ......I plugged it in one night yo charge up assn the prrmobilty charger that I'd been using on it for over 18 months it burned right there where you plugged in the charger box....I received a quantum joystick from ebay...70.00....but the win for screen on my joystick shows just a picture of a wheelchair then to the side a square type symbolism movement of right lighting up then it lights up at bottom then on to the left .....like a revolving light up circle motion except its a square circle ....what could the problem be???

​@@astrosmellfrom your experience, what does it need to be serviced?..we have one that was working fine, and was put in storage for a few months. It worked a few times while at the storage. I took it home and it won't charge and the wrench icon blinks 9 times.

It is usually the inductive that goes bad on these units.

There's a little wheelchair flashing on and off on my controller we just change the batteries and bought a new controller and I don't know what's going on and it doesn't work it turns on and off but it won't move

My girlfriend has a Foldalite Trekker Powerchair. It has literally just stopped working. We have a warning ⚠️ sign on the control panel. Cannot find anything online about it. Just won't start at all. It says 111 in the corner in red? Any ideas at all? Cheers

I have a pronto surestep m61. I started getting 8 blinks on the repair light. Checked all cables and continuity is fine. I’m guessing the joystick is bad. The power button has always been hard to push. Ideas please?

Do you have a charger port on your joystick? If you do, you can test it to see if the joystick is getting power to it. It is a place to start. As well if your seat is in a slightly elevated position, tilted or reclined, that could be a problem. Thanks, Frank

Hello, I have a Pronto 41 . All of a sudden I went from 8 miles on full charge to going 2 miles and the chair bogs down on up slopes and slows down on turns., thought it was battery, put new ones in and no change. Is it the joy stick or the computer or something else.

That is a joystick error. Usually meaning that the inductive is out of whack. Either from use or hitting a table or something. Depending on the model, we can fix this. Frank 352 999 4477

I have a motorised wheelchair, just come back from repaired. It moves forward and reverses but when I try to raise the footrests, lean the chair back it just says 'E' and refuses to move. Can you help me? It's a TDX model.

Veronica, Oh that is a safety feature so when you are lean back in your chair the chair won’t move and you don’t clock your head or do something else like that is a micro switch underneath the seat that controls that safety feature anyway I hope this helped if it did not and you need to speak you can give me a call at 800-717-1252 thank you Frank
