Can you guys do a reliability review of this vehicle, i am hearing a lot of complaints regarding oil leaks, issues with 1 and 2nd gear and diff at not engaging and at times not disengaging. A honest review will help , I know its not a issue free vehicle and i dont expect it to be. But can i live with it?

The Gurkha twins are beasts and pure raw off road suvs, and the factory fitted air snorkel means no need to get it modified and altered from outside. I love real and actual body on frame 4x4 off road suvs

If force can pack these Gurkha twins with plush interiors and really good looking rear Aircon vents and a branded infotainment system whilst keeping the prices in check just like the current one's, it will surely create a stir. 2. Gurkha with the 13 seater and aforementioned point under 25 lakhs will kill the safari, XUV 700 and high end suv market. It will directly fall with the land rover defender 130 but at 1/4th the price. 3. The service centers and the showroom network, by the way it's a cycle that force can only come out of once they start selling record numbers. For that to happen the above mentioned 2 points are imperative. 3. Steering has to be smaller with mounted controls. 4. The seats and its plushness is way below what Mahindra is doing with the ROXX. P.S. I m saying this coz I really want the vehicle to succeed and become a cult!

Force Motors needs to TWO things right about Gurkha: 1) Better Fit & Finish of the interiors & more features, that are upto date. The current setup looks like mis & mash of everything. Just get the basic right, no need of a 10 or 12 inch Touch screen, but a better integrated one, current one is horrendous & the overall the interior, in general. 2) Better & more powerful engines &Gearbox. Gurkha deserves a modern a more powerful engine. 160-180HP with 350-450Nm is what this SUV deserves, of course keep the current one, but it needs a modern Powertrain/Drivetrain as well.

Sirish, I want to honestly know if I can put my hard earned money in a Gurkha. I can live with all that it offers. All I ask in return is that it should never break down somewhere in the wild. Apart from my 17 year old Land Cruiser Prado , I just cannot trust any other vehicle with my family's safety. Reliability is everything to me.

I have a doubt, it would be a great help if anybody can clear it. I heard force ghurkha have frequent mechanical and sensor compliants and parts availability issue. Is it true? This is my dream suv, but these statements from people makes me rethink whether to choose ghurkha or not

Major issues are getting fixed. Control arm issue, leakage due to poor quality seals, low power (90hp), rough gear shifting issue, minor sensor issues are all fixed. Only issue now left is DPF one. They are working on it. If you want to buy gurkha, I would suggest to wait for some months.
