2024 Ford F 150 Tremor First Drive

With the refresh to the 2025 F-150 comes the opportunity to make changes across the lineup and we're seeing a bit of that touch on the F-150 Tremor. While not a new nameplate for Ford, the Tremor is now a clear upgrade to the other off-road package (the FX4) and it's making the most of its opportunity. With features like off-road shocks, 33 inch wheels from the factory, and an available modular front bumper this trim provides a lot of upgrades that owners would consider doing themselves but no longer need to look aftermarket. This means a new Tremor buyer can push this truck harder and farther off the beaten path and still have a factory warranty in place.
With a starting price of $66,255 you'll get a Tremor with most of the equipment you'll need to get you to the campsite and beyond but if you want more features with your new found capability you can upgrade to a better equipped version of the Tremor for an additional $11,710. That's not small leap for a truck that wears the same badging but you do get quite a lot with one option box checked. With the market crashing I have found these all over for $55-$60k which isn’t bad considering. I’d also be willing to bet that with current market conditions and trucks sitting on lots for over 60 days you can get these for thousands less

⁠@@AAutoBuyersGuideI have the 2K on board power and it’s plenty enough. On board power is the best option ford came out with on the newer trucks. All the other bells and whistles are unnecessary in my opinion. But it sure makes good money for Ford motor corporation.

He has the upgraded ecoboost he says which I believe comes with ten speed automatic. Base engine, my recommendation is the Coyote and ten speed automatic.

The advantage of the 5.0 is the ability to add a dealer installed Whipple Supercharger kit designed for the V-8 F150’s. The V6’s won’t do that.

No thank you. Stopped watching when I heard the price. Having $66k (or saving $1200 per mo for 6 years) is worth much more than having this new truck. At $66k, this should sell poorly. That's a waste of $25k over what was available new only a few years ago and is now available used. Fail for most.
