Just picked up my 24 mustang GT 2 weeks ago and I love it it’s carbonize gray metallic with the active exhaust and the 301A package. I found it at $8600 below msrp.

Nice find. Most 301A pkg GT's sitting on dealer lots seem to just have the base exhaust.

Yea I ordered my GT base on 9/1/23 upgraded to premium 11/18, hit my car end February, blk out pkg, stripe, active exhaust, auto… really loving it, glad upgraded for sure… I’m coming from a 2021 and 2022 premium manual

I like how they added the Fox body gauge display. The 1992 Dodge Viper had 400hp stock (8.0L V10) now we have a base 5.0 V8 GT with 480hp without active exhaust. It's crazy how automotive technology has evolved over the past 30 years or so.

Facts! I had a used 21 GT Premium auto. It was a great car, but boring to drive. I mainly changed the interior colors and left the active exhaust in track. My 23 GT Base manual was epic. The manual made the car fun and enjoyable to drive. Had to sell my 23 GT and need a truck because I moved from Florida to Colorado. I’m thinking about getting another manual car. Dodge Challenger or Mustang GT.

The performance pack isn’t a good option for a manual you really want 3.55 gears not 3.73 specifically if your planning on supercharging it

I got a 23 Roush supercharged 5.0 last sept. I’m not into the 24 but they nice too and they have no tune so it was a win for me and got 72month extended warranty. Smiles for gallon couldn’t be happier 😊 your car is nice too👍🏻

great video! For us in Europe, the "base" model is the premium model (+ active exhaust, + Performance pack). We sadly don't get much choice in options, probably for factory production line reasons. I ordered a Dark Horse in Blue Atlas, automatic without the Recaros 2 months ago, waiting for news on build date and such (we cannot track the production like you guys can, we could at the beginning of the S550 but they stoppped the tracking some time with the facelift). The GT and Dark Horse have a 10k difference here and if you add the magneride to the GT then you only are at 7k difference. The GT without options and manual is CHF 66k and the DH with manual at CHF 77k in Switzerland, other EU countries have it cheaper: €59k and €72k (without taxes in some countries like the €60k tax in France on top...) . I exchanged my 2015 GT for CHF 30k so I got the DH for a nice price (49k).

A Dark Horse with manual trans converted to a convertible by a coach builder is my dream....but I am poor, so I am eyeing a 2011 V6 Camaro with manual trans (not convertible, but a rare green color I have always wanted) and it is 15k...but even that is only about a thousand less than I make a year...so it would still take me many years to pay off....so I am hesitant.

The s550 I had both the premium and a base at the exact same time. Not because I was mentally handicapped, I bought the premium first, and then got into doing track days and the wife at the time didn’t like me beating on “her” car. So I got an another brand new s550 base for $27,*** something. The reason not a Camaro or something different, simple price. It was $10k cheaper than anything else. There was one thing that was different in the base that I was not aware of when I got that made a big difference in the two cars. Gearing. Rear end gearing. 3.31 came in base where in the autos you got 3.55 or in the performance pack 3.73. Track driving and running the two cars head to head this gearing made a big difference. My base car would get left behind. I have made a few modifications to the car since and I still dream of putting 3.73 gears in the car. I have yet to do it.

How are you able to order the car and get 4000 off MSRP just the time of the year Internet pricing I’m just driving one this coming week and I’m also going base. I think I want the 301A though maybe some wheels and maybe stripe 47, 48,000 if I can get four grand off, that would be perfect.

All I did was ask, and it was given. At the time mine came in, other dealers had them on sale for that price, so I told my dealer. They gave it to me.

You can get those without going to the premium, just add the upgraded package they offer, it's only 2k.

I have the GT premium 6 speeds and for the price difference compare to base here in Canada, I think it was worth it. I can't see having the base because I like some comfort option that I'm use to , I can see having a base is better than nothing option and is affordable. But I was fortunate to able to afford it, I wanted to have a C8 but due to the stupid waiting list and over MSRP price and their issues, I took my deposit back and bought the S650 Premium with no regret until I saw the z06 which I can't really afford :). But the s650 is very fun with the 6 speeds in any version. The base is great value. I pay for my premium under MRSP too. Mine is far under the dark horse price and the only thing I regret is not getting the Big brake package which I do not have.

I own a brand new 2024 ecoboost base but now have the opportunity for trade in my car for challenger R/T and pay the same monthly payment like my ecoboost . After you own the both car what do you think about this change? I always wish a V8 but mustang GT is so expensive for me . Challenger now is cheap .

I don't know that I would trade my 24 EcoBoost for a 23 R/T Challenger, but if you just REALLY want a V8...that is a solid choice. Where I live, I can get one for 34k. Amazing deal to me. But I understand your position, and in the end you will know what to do when you are ready. Just don't loose money in that deal...make money, or come out EVEN.

I got a question. When you say you got it for $42,000… $4000 below MSRP … you’re not talking about OTD price are you? Was taxes and tags and doc fee put on top of the $42,000? Because I have deal that is $4500 off MSRP. After taxes and tags and doc fees it’s about $600 under the MSRP. I’m wondering if that is a good deal? If you got it for $42,000 OTD I gotta find out how you accomplished this!!

Is this a deal I should not let go or you think later in year could be better… 2024 GT Coupe $4500 off Premium $5000 off MSRP. Taxes and tags and fees for my state right around $4,000. So if out the door price including everything ends up less then sticker MSRP…. I’m needed that outside source to agree or disagree with me! But it’s over today and this place like you said is 159 miles away. No dealer anywhere near me can touch this deal.
