The tailgate dampener is standard but the spare tire lock is removed and cost extra now. Give and take.

Nice buch of videos for the 2024 ranger, did you happen to learn anything about being able to fit anything larger than a 32" tire with out chopping up the crash bars and such on the new models?

Chief engineer, You talked about the types of testing and duration of some of the tests, can you do a video of things that were found to be problems and what kind of actions were taken to fix these issues? Point of reference, I purchased a 1994 Ranger new and kept it until I put it to rest 25 years later with almost 200,000 miles on it. I wish I had taken better care of it. I would like to purchase another Ranger.

Good question about the Ranger at 11:38. The guys answer seems like cherry coating a miss in the market. It seems like they always do this. Both the Colorado and the Ranger and even the Dakota left the market at the same time leaving just the Toyota and Nissan. Toyota completely took over the market. It seems to me like either chevy or ford could have been competitive. It would have been easy for Ford to do it. But for some reason they both leave the market at the same time so the numbers they were losing to chevy they might have picked up. They would have easily sold 300,000 a year if they had the truck. I'm looking at the midsize market now, don't want a tacoma and don't want to spend 30 k. The used market as far back as 2015 trucks are still going for 30k. Some people would say "You could get a full size for a little more money". And I think Ford felt the same way about profits. But frankly their is little that I need that extra width for that I couldn't do with a midsize.

My questions to him, why no rear ac vents when the global ranger has them, why the swap from the 10r80 to the 10r60 transmission, and there’s more smaller detailed questions like why the no cup holders inside like the global ranger, why the no manual, etc.

rear vents will be on higher trims...I've ordered the LARIAT and they are NOT on it, but I did see a Raptor Trim video somewhere that had the rear vents...not a deal breaker for me tho...@@tazmanken01
