Why put it in a box. You still have to set it outside? Just leave it in the metal casing

Bro your so lucky those screws did not go past the throttle body, my brother had that happen on a gti, somehow sucked the boost tap screw through the intake right into the valves. 😐

Just dropped my 2019 Ranger off at Ford to replace the hole HVAC unit. It’s around a $3000 repair. It has been paid for by the extended warranty. I purchased when I bought the truck.

Just coming across this 2 years after you made this video. How did the Milwaukee wall mount hold up? I have some on the wall of my garage, can’t imagine these holding up very long on a rooftop. I love Milwaukee, just skeptical of it being used on a roof top. Seems like it wouldn’t take much heat etc to warp the crud out of those wall mounds.

do you have a link to the better fuel line? I haven't been able to find the sturdier fuel line in the correct size. Thanks.

Man!! After seeing the OEM "down pipes", ugh!! I have to get mine replaced as well. And I was not planning on it! You see the ninety-degree angles coming off the stock ones. Just destroying any type of efficient, economical, performance out of those things. On Fords part that is a shame :(... I went with Thermal R & D 3". Your vehicles under garage looked so damn sexy! Good job..

Did you ever figure out the led grill for the ranger I’m looking into doing the same thing
@geraldhenrickson7472Ай бұрын
Ruh Roh...The fresh air inlet is a grille in the case? No flange to mount a duct? I want to set it under my trailer and route the room air in and out with ducting.

How do you vent your tank? So air can replace the fuel as it is being consumed.
@EricDeLaRosaАй бұрын
I am looking to do the same thing, my plan is just to loosen the cap a tiny bit before use, to let air in.
@hurricanesailsАй бұрын
@ I’m looking for something more dynamic; one that deals not only with fuel consumption, but also cold temps and hot temps. Your method will work, however I’m concerned with fuel spillage if I forget to tighten it up. I’m using my heater in a 2000 F250 and older Alaskan Camper

Bought 2 on Amazon, one was $89 and the next week they had em for $79 so bought an extra one for back up or parts. This was end of august 2024. So far used the 1st one 3 times overlanding with zero probs heating my RTT. I use clear k1 kerosene. I power mine with a Pecron E1500LFP. I modified the power plug it came with, cut the pos/neg batt terminals off and soldered a XT60 plug on it to plug directly into my Pecron 12v30A DC port. Good luck finding a generator to run these because the watts spike too high when the glow ramps up at beginning. Best to just get a 12v30Ah lifep04 battery or even a bigger 50Ah battety. These pull about 150-200 watts briefly on startup and then once running only pull 10-25 watts depending on heat level you choose. I run mine on level 1 and use half gal in 11hrs at 10 watts and im PLENTY warm in my 2 person rtt with annex attached.

I've got a question. Your power cord idea is great. I'm unable to find the socket that would mount on the heater box. The only one I found was on eBay and the Aussie was listing it for $60. What was your source for the socket. Thanx.. Bill
