Talked to Linda about her current trip to Georgia to train with Training Think Tank in preparation for the Games. She also asked me questions about semi finals and the number of spots each area gets.

Wonderful question! Thanks for asking that, Linda! :) I'm not sure that Dave fully got that, but great that you brought it up. :) When you look at the scores at the big three Semifinals and at the Games, the strength is quite similar and US East is probably the strongest. But if you take a look how hard is to get to the Semifinals, Europe is definitelly the hardest. It was like that this year, but wasn't sure how was it years prior, so I took a look. In 2022 last qualified male athlete from Europe was 154. worldwide, from East 218. and from West 391. The differences in women field were really similar. And this year it was a same story. For example this year as male competitor you had to be top 106 in the world to make it to the Semifinals.

I started doing crossfit around the same time as Linda in the same gym, the amount off progression she made in those years is impressive 👌🏻so cool to see here going to the games now 👊🏻 Go Lindaaaa
