So how is the overall satisfaction with the diesel in comparison with the Gasser....I know the Gasser has more horses but how does the diesel stack up...any regrets?

I have the diesel in my Silverado. It gets fantastic fuel mileage and is very peppy/ quick in 1st through 4th gear. It doesn’t have any problems passing people on the highway but it’s not as fast on the top end as the 6.2L. After the initial thrill of the 6.2L, I think you would much prefer the diesel. It’s really fun around town because you have all the torque available right off the line. I quite enjoy it. It’s also very quiet for a diesel.
