I wouldn't call it a beginner bike. It has enough power to get yourself hurt if you're not responsible with the throttle. With that said, it's easy enough to ride that if you're responsible with the throttle, & keep the basics in mind, you'll be fine. Take a basic rider skills course & make smart decisions on the road.

Harley calls it a sport bike not a cruiser on the website.

@@jimscarnivorekitchen4731 still more of a cruiser with a sporty engine. Having it in their “sport” lineup doesn’t really make it a sport bike.

70 hp is old style Most bike are over 100 now with hi torque. Why not speak about 2 up riding with suspension, control. Small gas tank for no reason !

The main competition in the Scout with over 100hp doesn't feel much faster than this bike. I could care less about hp numbers. I'm here for how the bike feels while riding. As for 2 up riding, not something that I plan on doing, so it doesn't come to mind when I have a brief ride. Suspension must've just not come to mind on this one. My videos are simple first impressions, from a newer rider just starting to make content. I don't follow a script or anything, so apologies if some questions aren't answered here.

Haven’t ridden one myself but as far as looks & sound go, I agree. The Nightster is a bit of an ugly duckling but it was one of the more fun bikes I’ve ridden.

Harley-Davidson Nightster Special / Nightster. This bike does not look good from the non-exhaust side, and the overall finish is far behind the competition. Indian Motorcycles Scout looks way better. And If you take a purely all-round motorcycle perspective you get many prettier, better, and faster motorcycles for the money. Harley-Davidson dropped the ball with the Nightster, but fortunately MoCo have many great motorcycles that can compensate for this somewhat ugly one.

They most definitely dropped the ball. The Nightster was very fun but it would be far from my first choice.
