In this video, we will be cutting the Sorghum Sudan grass that we will be baling for dry hay later on. Will be cutting this grass with a Valtra A95 tractor and a 1977 new Holland 479 Haybine with roller crimpers.

I’m unfamiliar with that grass. If it’s like that then why not use more of this than Bermuda? I’d do this all day long for that kind of production. That’s nuts

We do it mostly so we can use less land for hay and more for cows. Bermuda is nice but we just can’t get the production out of it. This Sudan is also high in protein. I’m going to get some tested to see what the actual protein value is.
