For several years l mowed with l call a 15 ft batwing mower cutting pastures and wildlife plots. They had grass feed beef and was constantly mowing to keep weeds down. I got to see all kinds of wildlife. I have spooked several deer fawns and watched bound into the woods. I live in the piedmont of North Carolina. I would tell people what I could mow in 8 to 10 day and they would be surprised at the volume. Also it would depend on what gear you could run in for conditions.

How many miles are you traveling. Modern tractor tyres last about 5000 + hrs of road work. And at 35 mph it doesn't take long to get anywhere. I know of contractors doing 200 -300 miles a day harvest time on the road. . I see you have dual wheels though. Which we can't use on public roads. It's very rare to see them on tractors nowadays. Here in UK.

I am not a farmer, but I was wondering why you need to mow fields. There is a significant fuel cost, wear on the equipment, and operator man-hours. You are also eliminating bee and small animal habitat.

This particular job was on a piece of commercial property that will eventually be developed. As a farmer though, you would want to keep your pastures mowed to suppress weed growth and optimize grass production for your livestock. Thanks for the question!
