I had to take my husband into HL last year and he was overwhelmed. The ball ornaments were stacked to the ceiling. He said he had never seen so much Christmas merchandise. The aisles were crammed and jammed. He had to leave and go to the car. Sensory overload!!! 😂

Im so disappointed in the flocked ball ornament colors this year. I was going for a burgundy/ dark cranberry color theme on my tree. I never did the flocked before. The green is beautiful, but they wont show up on a green tree, in my opinion. Thanks for showing us the Christmas decor. I realize it’s August, but if you don’t snag the popular decor items you’re looking for, they will be gone. We’ve all learned that the hard way.

🛑The manager at our store had cashiers wiping off black mold from ornament packages and putting them back on the shelf. You could clearly see mold on the inside too. Be careful what you buy!

​@KatieVining, yes, it's disgusting. I've worked there for a long time, and it has steadily gotten worse. Many employees are quitting do to poor management and safety standards. It used to be a great place to work. You would be shocked how many water damaged items are put out. Another big one is the canvas tote bags. They come in smelling horrible, and you can sometimes smell them aisles away. They have become very greedy. It's so sad. I'm definitely looking for new employment!

These prices are ridiculous. Christmas only lasts a short time of the year so wasting money on a lot of decorations just isn't smart. Plus resale like yard sale or auction prices are very low on Christmas Decorations unless they are very, very vintage. I prefer eating nice home cooked meals and stocking my pantry with the money this stuff cost. Your family will love you too for doing so! It's nothing wrong with a few decorations which you save from year to year. I especially like the ones which I didn't buy in bulk but have a meaning to the family. "Memories" These stores are there for one reason and that is to get your money. Don't fall in the trap. It's very expensive. - I also especially don't like the Halloween Decorations people waste money on. All for one day! Halloween should never override Christmas but it's becoming more and more a thing.
