ya know…Ok, since my daughter married in 2013, Id started doing the winterwonderland white, icy, theme w/snow owls, and teal accents….so, thats Ten years of that…Last year I added in a little red….this year, I think I’ll go ALL white&Red!!!!

oh MY WORD…thats early. This November I’ll be married 40 years last year I began decorating for Christmas the week before Thanksgiving I did my Christmas village on my main sideboard in my entryway and I redid my little mini fairy gardens(theres five), into ‘snow globes’ so I had those things done by Thanksgiving…oh and my two bedrooms had the faux trees… that’s all I had done at Thanksgiving time!!!

I use to decorate Thanksgiving night but several years ago I had a surgery and was in the hospital for Thanksgiving. My girls decided to decorate early to lift my spirits and ever since then right after Halloween it all goes up!

🌲🎄Decorating depends on when we celebrate Christmas. Usually we cannot celebrate Christmas on actual Christmas Day because my husband is out of state or sometimes overseas because of his career. We work around his schedule.

What I wouldn’t give for a Hobby Lobby in Canada.😍. It would be to my demise though😂 now I want to start listening to Christmas music. I usually wait until October🎅🏾🧑🏼‍🎄. Depends on the year for set up but often November 1st- a week to middle of January . I start my music and movie watching in October. Don't worry Ashley, I like grapes but nothing grape flavored, so you liking the gingerbread aisle because it's Christmassy to you, but not liking gingerbread foods is not weird. And if it is, let's be weird together!!!🎄🎅🦌When do I start decorating for Christmas? Well, my Christmas tree is up and fully decorated year-round, so technically I don't undecorate fully!! For the rest of the decorations, I usually wait until at least November 1st, but I keep it all up until after New Year's so I'm not just putting it up to take it all down right away.

We enjoy fall through Halloween and Thanksgiving, then decorate for Christmas on Black Friday! We put on our record of the Charlie Brown Christmas movie soundtrack (and more Christmas music when that’s finished) and decorate! We also like to do some sort of Christmassy or semi-Christmassy thing, like bake Christmas cookies or make hot cocoa and watch a Christmas movie.🎄

well it’s not really that odd that you like the gingerbread Decour; but you don’t like to EAT gingerbread!!!! I can relate> I love decorating with pineapples in the spring and summer and I cannot eat pineapples because I’m intolerant I mean I do actually love pineapple I just can’t eat them boo-hoo!!!…oh, Also> so, I TOTALLY agree about the timers on things, just Yesterday I put batteries in about oh 10 items that have to be turned on and off every day ranging from tea lights that go inside my galvanized houses my triple stack mercury glass pumpkins two other little houses that I have an a tiered tray or light up pumpkins around and various table scapes yeah it takes me 15 minutes at bedtime to turn off all the darn things…

🍄 have always been on our tree 🌲. I think it has to be a European. In our kids cartoons and New Years books little animals like bunnies 🐰 or hedgehogs 🦔 would always bring mushrooms 🍄 to the tree for decorations.😊

🎄 I totally forgot about HL! The closest one is 30 min from us so I have to remember to shop their holiday decor. Our centerpieces for the tables at our wedding came from there. they only had a few of the lanterns in stock and I needed like 20 so I kept going back getting rainchecks for the 50% off. We usually decorate after Thanksgiving. The HOA makes us wait til then and we like to do it all in one weekend
