Don't have the 5Max but I did EDC my Cold Steel Mayhem S35VN edition for a month and take it with me everytime I go for a neighborhood walk. After modding it to be a straight back clip point and adding a snaggletooth wave deployer, its honestly one of my favorite knives

Fun stuff. 2025 is the year you really need to try out a Solo Stove Lite. No moving parts to break and fuel is laying all over woods free for the taking. No more hauling one use canisters around. Just saying.

Great vid, loads of cool gear and definitely a few I don't have and will add to my list. As for your question regarding EDCing the 5Max, I did EDC it for a month just for the heck of it. After the 1st day I didn't even notice it. Did get a few shocked looks for a few soccer moms when i pulled it out at a BBQ 😂 Went back to my Recon 1s and Voyagers for daily EC rotation, but my 4Max and 5Max still make it into rotation at least once a month depending on my plans for the day.

I really like this channel and his setup I just think the knife and other edc company’s raise the prices after these guys review there gear nutnfancy proved that I mean how many super steels are there and do you really need them how about a video for that I have purchased stuff off of his reviews but damn knives are going to start selling like iPhones just unreasonably expensive for what you actually do with them I’m not going to try and cut a submarine in half and it takes me less then a minute to sharpen my rat I paid 20 bucks for and carried for ten plus years
