I've owned a '23 CR-V Sport Hybrid FWD for just over a year now. The mileage is absolutely insane for a small crossover. I am consistently getting 44+ MPG in city commuting, and 38-40 MPG on long road trips. All this while riding comfortably and with tons of space. I've also taken the CR-V softroading on some longer gravel roads and dirt roads to access trailheads. It has handled wonderfully and my confidence in its abilities has increased greatly. And a secret tip for anyone that is unhappy that the rear seats do not fold flat. Get a 6' folding table from Costo and it will fill out the rear cargo deck nearly flush with the seats down. Just like the original CR-Vs, having a table in the trunk is a huge perk!

bought the CRV 3 days ago. We now have about 125 miles so this is an initial impression. We traded an 2019 Explorer Limited. We are surprised that, at this trim level, the Honda does not have a built in garage door opener or heated steering wheel. The car drives great around town but I found it extremely noisy on the highway. Noise seems to generated by the Bridgestone tires on the asphalt. I was surprised at the lack of rearward seat travel. I am only 5'7" and had the seat at the end of the travel. I know there are other adjustments that need to be investigated. The handling and performance seemed good. The steering was a little glitchy but think that had to do with the lane centering feature which will get turned off the next trip to see. My wife likes the car but my initial feeling is that my F350 dually is quieter and more comfortable. I am not giving up on the Honda

I've been comparing the Forester Limited to the CR-V EXL, there are pluses and minuses with both. I think Honda wins in that it is rather new-ish, Forester will be all-new later this year with the 2025 model. Forester is standard with AWD so that is to be considered, it's a better system too. But Honda has a better looking dash layout, better multi-view camera system. If hauling stuff around is important, Honda is worse with the huge hump on the load floor with the back seats laid down, what the....? And no pull handles anymore? It's a tuff comparison between these two.
@tamaraonthego9 ай бұрын
@@ofcbob6391 it's not really a tuff comparison. If you're a city mom like me, you don't need AWD because 4 tyres go all at once 😅 can't do no rotation from front back. AWD is mostly for off road terrains. Plus, the hump in the back prevents all my big stuff from slipping, if I lay that seat and push an item over there, I don't hear no sliding around all over the v place. If you have a boat or jet ski then, you may need a pull... if not, it's not sexy....it looks barnyard tow truck... well, I'm sorry for this.
