Saw this exact color and Touring trim level in Minneola, FL today. It’s the first one outside of the dealer lot I’ve seen. Even after the $7,500 federal rebate and small dealer discounts this is a $45K out the door price. You can get a 2025 Pilot 2WD EX-L trim for $41K with more content, space, and power and have $4K left over for gas. Until dealers take off the same discounts as on the Pilot, these will languish. These are GM engineering and the platform mate Blazer RS model are in the low $40K price out the door.

These are not selling. My dealer has had the same 3 in stock for at least 2 months and I've yet to see one on the road.

You are correct they aren’t selling i work for Honda and we have like 40-50 in stock. For employees right now Honda is giving us a incredible lease payment to move them and hope people start noticing them i may consider it since the Elite trim is about $250 a month lease with tax and about $1000 down.

Great review Tom. I am 60 and do not see myself ever purchasing any EV. Limited range, over priced, increased insurance costs, potential battery replacement issues and very limited infrastructure support. No thanks Honda. I’ll keep my ICE vehicle.

Average range of an EV is now 300 miles or so, with some vehicles in the 450 mile range. Battery technology is improving, with solid state batteries (among others) on the near horizon with 600+ miles range and lightening quick charging times. Currently, if qualified for the tax incentive, EVs are at about equal cost with ICE vehicles, and are on the trajectory to become much cheaper (increased competition and economies of scale). Battery replacement is very rare, about as rare as engine replacement. This vehicle (Prologue) has a battery system where individual cells of the battery can be replace instead of the entire battery pack. EVs also are quicker, quieter, require less maintenance, cheaper to fuel, and more environmentally friendly. They also are not subject to the variance in the gas prices as determine by the world oil price. But hey, just repeat the talking points of the oil and gas industry that want to ring out every last cent in your pocket while they can.
