I’ve got 170+ hours on my 2024 TE 300. Most of my riding is PNW steeps. I agree with you that this is the best 300 yet for hard enduro type riding. Other than brakes and tires, the only part requiring replacement was the Crankcase Pressure Sensor. The TBI bikes utilize a new design with a bigger port, and it is easier to replace. I consider replacing the CPS as a regular maintenance item, and suggest doing so at 100 -150 hours. The part costs $55 USD. This bike is very well made and reliable, and is really easy to ride in difficult terrain. I’m planning on getting at least 300 hours out of the original top end.

I’m at 60 hours on my 2024 XCW Hard Enduro. Had to mod the idle spring to get the idle right, changed the spark plug to NGK iridium, replaced the headlight switch with a motominded because the stock one wouldn’t stay on, and just replaced the seat with a Enduro Engineering one. Overall I love the bike. It’s really improved my experience with riding dirtbikes.

In most situations I don't think stabilizers are necessary and for woods riding they hinder performance. Wide open desert riding I can see how they would be useful.

I wonder if the TBI oil injector bottle holds a smaller volume of oil vs. the TPI large oil injector bottle. I agree with you, I fill the bottle more with the TBI than I did with the TPI. I have not really paid attention to which volume is larger, though. BTW, The TBI motor and that bike fits your excellent ride style! I have 200 hours on my TBI 300 XCW, I have only replaced tires and bibs on it...she runs exactly like the day I purchased her, perfectly! I'm waiting another 50 hours for first top end...

Hi Greg! How does the te300 pro compare to the sherco 300? I’m thinking about adding a te 300 pro to accompany the sherco
@PNWEnduro26 күн бұрын
The Husky is lighter, much better stock suspension and easier to work on. The only thing I'd give the edge to the Sherco on is bottom end power.
@kylemclaughlin157826 күн бұрын
@ cool! Thanks for your opinion/review. I’m sure a TSP power kit would be a great addition to the TE to give back that bottom end the sherco has over it. I’ve also seen in this video that the fuel economy seems about the same on the TE as the sherco with the stock Keihin carb?
@PNWEnduro26 күн бұрын
The fuel economy can vairy a lot on the Sherco depending on jetting, the TBI is not quite as fuel efficient as the TPI was but the big difference is 10.9 L tank on the Sherco (pre 2025) vs 8.5 on the TBI bikes.

The 2022 has different transmission ratios than 2024/25 bikes so you can't compare sprocket sizes between the bikes directly.
