2024 Hyundai Alcazar - True 7-seater?

2024 Hyundai Creta facelift has finally been launched today and we got an opportunity to spend some time with the car to check out all the changes. While the platform remains the same as the pre-facelift model, it gets some add-on comfort features like ventilated seats even for the second row passengers, Creta-like layout, new seats at the front and second row among many. While the 1.5-litre Turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine are carried forward, the 2.0L NA petrol has been discontinued. In fact, it was discontinued silently in the pre-facelift avatar only. Noticed a weird thing. The allow design alignment is different on both sides. One side the pointed edge are forward facing while on other its backward facing. Is it intentional or a design flaw?

Great job providing seat ventilation in all 4 seats + fast usb ports in the rear. The only disappointed is the touch panel cluster in the front. Tactile buttons add to the safety while driving as one can keep his eyes on the road while pressing the physical buttons.

​@@ICNif only they gave a detuned version of the tuscon diesel engine with around 130-140hp, alcazar would have been the go to pick for a lot of non ncr people. That 116hp diesel is too small and underpowered for such a huge car. Why are they not revising the power of that diesel for alcazar to suit the bigger car is questionable
