We just got a 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy, wanted this one, but could not swing an additional $8k. Love the Santa Fe Calligraphy so far, only been a week so we shall see.

Hey Mike. Nice review. Wish the Tucson/SantaFe would have the rear turn signals in the same place as the Palisades instead of in the bumper. Agree that the rear wiper should be tucked under the spoiler like it is on the Tucson. If you had to decide between this and your Explorer Timberline which one would you choose?

Nice front end. Love the wheels. The side view is great. Nice color for the exterior paint. Hyundai move the rear wiper to the top of the rear window. Beautiful rear end. The engine power does not impress me very much. Towing 5,000 lbs. in the mountains will really strain the engine. For the listed MSRP of over $53,000 dollars, I would not even stop to look at this SUV. I would take the Palisade in a little lower trim. Start and Stop systems are garbage! Tow/Haul mode switch, but no trailer brake controller, not bright. Most vehicles in this class require trailer brakes on a trailer that exceeds 1,000 lbs. I spotted you son again. That was a nice surprise. Thanks for the review, Mile and son.

I purchased the 2023 Palisade Calligraphy...love it. I notice that you didn't cover any of the driver assist features. I would prefer that rear windshield wiper be mounted from the top also.

How would you compare this vs a standard Aviator? A lot more features in palisade but what about ride/handling?

Aviator ride and handling is better. Palisade is FWD biased. Aviator is RWD biased. RWD always gives you a better ride and handling.

any thoughts on the myriad of recalls for this Hyundai model? Not parking next to any structure is a bit of a deterrent for me. I know it's now every single VIN.
