The champions new league format is fundamentally different from the Superliga because the super league didn't have a qualification system for its teams, they just chose the "best legacy" clubs. Meaning if a different team won their league, then it wouldn't matter because they'd go with a more "traditional" league. If you're top of your league at the topflight anywhere in Europe, you can qualify for the champions league.

Is it just me that feels like football has lost its spark these days? I find it difficult to watch a lot of games these days because it feels so tactical and boring, more like a chess match than a game of football. Pieces of individual brilliance are few and far between these days and truly skilful players like Ronaldinho are a thing of the past, the closest you get to him now is Vini and in my opinion those 2, at least for now, can’t be named in the same sentence let alone compared to each other.
