Hi Austen, congratulations on your amazing results! 🌟 In 2024, my main income streams were as follows: Ad revenue (blog + KZbin combined): 50% Brand collaborations: 25% Affiliate marketing: 24% Digital products: 1% (I’ve never actively promoted them). I also still earn some residual income from my old business, which I’ve gradually scaled down to focus more on KZbin. Overall, I’ve seen about 10% growth compared to 2023, but my blog’s ad revenue (I’m currently with Mediavine Pro) took a significant hit after the two Google algorithm updates in 2023. Fortunately, all the other income sources have grown significantly. Thankfully, being in the fashion and beauty niche, I still manage to drive decent traffic to my blog through Pinterest, my newsletter, and other sources. However, it’s definitely been unsettling, especially knowing how badly many other bloggers were impacted. Anyway, I wish you an amazing 2025 filled with success and happiness! ✨🌟

Ciao Cristina, happy new year!! thank you so much for sharing your breakdowns with us as well, it looks like you've got a great mix of income sources as a creator. I totally agree that fashion/beauty pins help drive traffic but right now most of mine is coming from organic SEO as well. My site has been mostly stable through the updates which is great but this was also the year I hired some help on the backend of optimizing posts which has been awesome. Hope your 2025 is off to a great start! 💕

I’d love to hear what percentage of pitches to booked jobs make up your yearly revenue. (If you’d be willing to share!) I’m debating whether it’s worth my time. Thank you for sharing your valuable insights and knowledge, Austen! ❤

Hi Dara, thanks for watching! 💖 This year all of my paid brand deals were actually inbound leads, so 0% of those jobs came from me pitching! I do enjoy pitching I just didn't really make the time for it last year. I usually send emails to brands in August ahead of the holidays but other than that I didn't actively pitch much last year. Hoping to get back into it a little more this year to increase brand deal revenue. Also if you'd like there's a freebie linked in the description called Before You Pitch mini guide if you're looking for tips.
