2024 Jeep Compass Review: Expensive.. But Soo Good!

As a Compass owner, I have never regretted buying this car. Built like a tank, it literally puts a smile on your face when you drive on an open road. Yes it is overpriced by at least a couple of lakhs. The top spec should have ideally been under 30 but I guess you pay the premium for the badge and the build quality. No Korean or Japanese brand can match Jeep in the build quality and sheer driving pleasure aspect.

2 years since I bought it...4*4 is beautiful...it speeds like a rocket on a highway. Beast ...it has given me a mileage of 23 on highway ...I have a limited plus.

Styling is a very subjective thing. While I agree with you that the Jeep's design is indeed classy, I still stick to my opinion of it. Calling my sense of aesthetic poor because of it isn't really fair

@@chandan9019 Ok. I trust you. I was really interested to go for Jeep. You know I found the gear shifting is tight? Suspension I have not tried in highway but within city its bumpy. It was a model S vehicle. Steering is not too comfortable to hold and horn is too tight. It does not have a cruise control for manual one. I m not trying to defame i like the vehicle still but these are the things i found. Its roof is also more slanted which looks bit ugly but almost all the vehicle have this design. Thought of going for a scorpio n i feel its gives more comfortable ride. But I know all the vehicles have down side. If you have any input pls do share this may help to take right decision if you have used the vehicle

@@fanclub69 Demo vehicle may be not well maintained , try with another showroom test drive vehicle . I have driven all SUV and picked Jeep. The quality of built is different. Jeep is from FCA, FCA sourced engine used by own Jeep and others like tata , mg. FCA. Manufactures nexon and compass in same plant.

Jc owner from 2018 here. What were the problems you were facing? The car has been fantastic for me and i dont think there is a car that can match the price to performance jc offers. Am just curious as to what your trouble was. Jeep fca now stellantis* have been very prompt in solving any issues we had.

So this doesn't have any standout features which Seltos or Creta or Kushaq doesn't provide. I guess it's about build quality and driving experience. 10 lacs more for that. More of a personal preference and status symbol in a way.

It's suspension. And I am not comparing here with XUV 700, Harrier or Hector but with Tucson, Tiguan, Fortuner. It's called as Frequency Selective Damping Suspension (FSD). Each tire has individual suspension. Even Fortuner has only dual suspension. Same is present in Luxury brands like Q5 Audi. You can experience this on a test drive by only driving on pot holes and speed breakers. The suspension is standout along with other good features like build, strong engine etc.

There is a fiber sleeve that is may be put for better aerodynamics . It can be taken out or replaced with thinner one used in trailhawk varient.
