@@DankehumDoesn’t the gladiator have like…..the best towing capacity of any mid size truck on the market? And its bed is about the size of a Toyota Tacoma, and on top of that it’s one of the best off road vehicle in its class.

Right now Jeep is offering 20% discount on 2024 Gladiator Mojave and Rubicon trims. Problem is these two trims are hard to find on the dealer lots. Mostly the lower trim lines are available. I came across a 2024 Gladiator Rubicon (non X) for $17,800 discount.

These are for off road use so solid axles are more practical for its purpose. If you want a better idea on the road, get something else. Nobody gets into a mustang and complains it needs better off road capabilities.

I had a 2008 Jeep Wrangler and what I would tell people who asked questions about having a Jeep, it had a rough ride no power seats and it wouldn’t run a quarter in ten seconds. Its a Jeep, you know what you are getting either you want one or don’t its not made to suit everyone, I traded my 2008 Jeep Sahara in it had 165,000 miles on ,it they gave me 5,000 I was a happy camper.

I want a vehicle that will do some medium duty towing, like a short stock trailer that may have to tow 2 steers but most likely one. That and a single large bale dolly. Lingers bed option too. Would this Jeep work?

I don't understand. They've known the sales are slow for years, why not give us what we want? Better fuel efficiency, bed options, cab options, etc. They're releasing an awkward truck every year that only needs a couple tweaks to be wildly popular.

I don't know if the Gladiator was ever meant "to take over the world" (!) but in the mid-size truck segment, but the Gladiator Rubicon is the Top Dog on/off-road truck, period. The Mojave is only slightly less capable than the Rubicon. The Chevy Colorado ZR2 comes in a fairly distant second -- all the other garden-variety mid-size trucks (Ranger, Canyon, Colorado, Frontier, etc.) aren't even close. As for the Ranger Raptor, it's just a Vanity "look at me" Vehicle...of no practical use whatsoever. Ford never made a Bronco TRUCK so the Gladiator Rubicon has no direct competition from Ford, but the Ranger Raptor would compete more with the Mojave (maybe). As for a solid axle, that's the what Jeep owners want (not IS) and regardless of the solid axle it's very smooth-riding and seat-comfortable on the hwy. And no, it doesn't feel "out of place" on the hwy nor does it have "floaty steering." You must have driving some other truck in this video but only showed Gladiator images. ;-) "Jeep Wave" -- BR

Most ppl that drive one of these for the first time have never owned or driven a Jeep, so have no clue what to expect. It’s a Jeep Wrangler with a truck bed, if you want a plush ride buy a unibody. I’m actually getting tired of people that expect trucks to be luxury family haulers

People who complain about the ride and fuel efficiency etc of a pickup truck, never mind a Jeep, obviously have no intention to actually use it as a truck and should be driving something else. Their demands are what literally hurt the truck market. They’re not luxury suvs. They’re supposed to be for work and/or off-roading.

I just found out today that the Mojave can only tow 4,500 lbs…..there are so many reviews that say it tows 7g or 6g??? Where’s all this misinformation coming from?

With the Dana 44 axels with 4.11 gearing that tow rating goes higher. The sport with max tow can tow 7500 it gets an oil cooler with the upgrading gearing.

You have to get the max tow capacity option for the 7k my sport s has that

@@tammybaxter9168 The Sport and Sport S get 7700 with max tow. Rubicon gets 7k with the upgraded axels, gears and 8 speed transmission. The Mojave gets 6k tow capability. With the 6 speed manual you only get about 4500 towing capability. The jeep page has a compare tool that shows the ratings. Hope this helps.

I drove all because I rent cars every week for work projects, anyway, if I ever bought a truck, then I will go with the jeep Gladiator or the RAM, both are competing each other, Ford is good, but I don't like the Ford steering wheel compared to Ram or the Jeep where it has the Audio buttons on the back, Chevy has the Audio buttons on the back as well, but the Chevy is more lux for roads where I look for a truck take me to the rough work sites as well as some mountain and beach sand sometimes depend on where our work is located. Sure I will not make the mistake thinking of the Toyota or the Honda, you can try it yourself. In the end, I always try to rent the Jeep or Ram every week it it's available, otherwise I will be forced to have boring time with the dull Toyota.
