I bought it small enough get thru a lot of forest trails, front and rear lockers, and sway bar disconnect. MSRP it can be bought much less now no one should pay MSRP. Cons out weighed the pros for me. 4 yrs spent off, road, with my kid in middle of no where places exploring. Priceless to me. Hello from Oklahoma! Good Video! Something people have forgotten, the Jeep was a "Utility Vehicle". About the time YJ came out Jeep has been trying to make luxury vehicles. I and Many other jeepers feel this is a sad trend. I wish that Jeep would bring back the bare bones jeep we all grew up with and love. I'm on my tenth jeep. Currently driving a 4 door 2014 Rubicon Unlimited. My first jeep was a 1975 CJ5. I'm an old man but still get out there and get it done. I was at Disney this last weekend. I've got a 23 Rubicon Gladiator and a 18 Wrangler Sahara (wife's car), I'm coming off a 14 Grand Cherokee, the Gladiator has the quietest ride of all three (I had KO2's on the GC). The ride quality on the Gladiator is surprisingly good, it mostly depends on road quality. I've had 4 adult males in the truck on several occasions and asked how the rear seat room was, there were no complaints. Yeah, the gas mileage sucks, but no one buys a truck expecting an economy car. I'm loving the Gladiator.

It’s only difficult to talk on phone when you’re doing 70+ mph and/or it’s really windy outside. My soft top Gladiator Rubicon on 38’s is fine below 60 mph. Above that it starts to get too loud, but this is a lifestyle vehicle. I’ve towed and loaded my truck up and never needed a larger capacity for either. Not a truck for heavy duty work, but for fun. Go buy a full size if you want full size truck attributes. I’ll enjoy my top down while they’re stuck in an A/C box.

My biggest concern about the Jeep is that I have been reading about the paint bubbling and hinges corroding in as little as three years. Most commenters say it's a Jeep thing but if you're paying 60+k for a Jeep, I would expect better quality. That to me is unacceptable.

I have a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon and I have both the soft top and the hard top (the hard top has the mopar sound deadening option). With the hard top on the gladiator is as quiet as any car on the road. It's a very quiet ride. It's a little noisier with the soft top but that comes with owning a soft top. As far as on the road, I have both a wrangler and a rubicon and on the road the gladiator rides more like a car. It's a vehicle I can take on a long ride without getting tired. The longer wheelbase really settles the ride down whereas the Wrangler Rubicon is a lot stiffer and more jumpy. The only place I can see the gladiator losing is in the price tag. It is an expensive truck but with deals these days I was able to get a 65k sticker price truck for 52k with the discounts when I bought it last year. That 65k is pretty much top of the line, leather interior, leather dash, towing package, remote key option, auto dimming mirrors, alpine sound system, dual tops, etc. To be honest it has proven to be a very reliable vehicle as well.

My first ride in a gladiator was my buddy's Rubicon Ecodiesel, Clayton 2.5" Overland life, on 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The ride was plenty comfy, and there wasn't any unacceptable cabin noise. Went and test drove stock rubicon gladiator just to get a fair assessment since my buddy's was far from stock on the things I was judging, and loved it. Solid front axle driving characteristics are another thing the internet has completely blown out of proportion.

I have a 2022 Gladiator absolutely love it, not sure what people are talking about with cabin noise never had a problem talking to anyone... even on the highway at 80mph. as far as fuel economy goes... dont know where they pull those numbers from your lucky to get 12 in the city and 14 on the highway ... i put a long range fuel tank on mine and had to put a aftermarket exhaust to do so, which gave me 18-22mpg ... and i got up to 600 miles between fuels stops... if i had know just changing the exhaust would have giving me better fuel economy i would not have needed the extra 17 gallons of fuel. ride quality from the factory is ok ... but its a jeep... no one leave a jeep stock, put a EVO Manufacturing 2.50-Inch Enforcer Stage 4 Overland Suspension Lift Kit with Front and Rear Track Bars, EVO Manufacturing EVO Spec King Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks with Compression Adjusters for 2.50-Inch to 5-Inch Lift, EVO Manufacturing JL/JT FRONT EVO SPEC KING 2.5" REMOTE RES WITH COMPRESSION ADJUSTERS 2.5-5". you can go down a dirt road at 50 mph and feels like you on the highway at 70mph, it does have a very small bed... its a small truck so no complaints there... if you need a truck buy a real truck, you should never tow anywhere near 7,000lbs with the small wheel base of the gladiator. not saying it cant but i would not for safety reasons. as a family of 5 ...back seat is small but its not our only car.. i don't classify the Gladiator as a midsized pickup truck... defiantly a small truck. (its a Jeep) ---Side note... The Gladiator has no power in any factory engine they come with, another towing flaw... why Chrysler offers a Wrangler 392 and not a Gladiator 392 is still beyond me. People buy a Gladiator to tow things with since they say it will tow 7,700lbs. I have put a AMW 505 pkg in mine, plenty of power now and still getting 18mpg with the V8.

When jeep released the bill Murphy gladiator commercial I fell in love. I just got my gladiator a couple weeks ago and love it. It’s a jeep a little more road noise a little rougher ride but sometimes the cool and fun factor is enough. And OMG it is so much more capable off road than my F150 on 35s and rear locker. I'm really looking forward to taking it on some mild trails this summer once I get ExoShield on the windshield next week, but next year will be a great season once I add a 3" lift and some 35"s over the winter. I will pick one up tomorrow and trading my 2022 Ford F150 V8. The reason for this is my wife has a 2023 Wrangler and I absolutely love driving her Jeep. Never any issues with it, Thank God. I just enjoy it so much more. 2nd reason, I’ll get a bit more fuel efficiency. 3rd reason, no cylinder deactivation. 4th reason, price is more affordable compared to an F150. 5th reason, less electronics and less things that can break. My F150 has been to the dealer 3 times because of technology issues along with 2 recalls. Took it for battery issues and problem still not fixed. They cannot find a fix and claim battery is good. 6th reason, I don’t haul and I don’t carry heavy stuff. I don’t care about the extra power or room. I can go on and on. The Jeep is just a lot more fun in my opinion. I love the naturally aspirated engine too. I’ve owned both and I’m sticking to Jeep! I don’t need a full size truck.

I looked at one, drove one and liked it, however I ended up with a 2021 ZR2 with the V6. My mpgs in Florida are 18-19 city and 21-22 hwy. in my opinion the Gladiator was def louder in the cabin then my ZR2 and it was the hard top. I can see how it would be louder with the soft top for sure. Regardless the Gladiator still rocks, has a lot of support and goes top less if you want it to. I don’t think it drives as nice as my ZR2 but still a great option due to how you can option it out. Still think it’s a great truck for what it is, and just drive want you want, it’s your money. I really truthfully don’t care what others think of what I own, especially now since I’m 50. Im the one who had to pay for it, so if others don’t like it oh well I still sleep good at night….😊

(Oh- when he was reading the list price of the other pickups, he didnt mention if ithey were a 4x4 but I digress) I put a deposit on my Gladiator, stating that it was going to take time to round up the down payment. That gave me several weeks to watch review videos... There were the walk arounds- the dry summary of the included parts. And then there were those where the reviewer got in and drove. And in almost every case the reviewer walked away giggling like a child. I decided I deserved that kind of fun! Two other points- it was my intent to purchase a cookie cutter pickup. But I noticed that all the neighbors who had the (except perhaps contractors who made a living with them) used then 2 or three times a year, and drove some other vehicle in between. There's that poor truck, flat tires, cobwebs, lacking maintenance, and some poor fool paying a premium payment, insurance, and registration for for the few times a year he actually needs a truck. I love driving mine, and have a reason to jump in every day. "The Swiss Army Knife" of trucks- I'll buy that- I envied that huge heavy duty Ford or Gmc he needed for his construction business... he got the truck he needed for his business, I got the truck I needed for my monkey business.

Our 23 Mojave compares very favorably with our 19 Grand Cherokee Limited. Other than gas mileage we are VERY pleased with this vehicle.

I put 33/12.5/22 tires on my 2023 ranger. I know there a lot bigger than stock but fuel mileage fell to 16-17 mpg. And thinking about trading it in for a Gladiator. Dealers are giving really big discount and are paying a lot more for trade in’s.

My Gladiator's cabin noise is not bad at all. Cant say the same about the Bronco soft top.

I have 8 other vehicles (inclusive of a mustang GT, two SUVs, a VW Alltrack which I treasure, and 4 sedans) by far my Gladiator is my favorite!! Noise? yes, ergonomic nightmare? yes, small for a midsize? yes, looks only a mom can love? yes? absolute blast to drive off road? YES! only truck that can have top and doors off? YES! 50K out the door on fully loaded rubicon (front camera. leather, and everything (except the proximity granny stuff)) - I love it!

Love my 21 mojave. The room in the cab is incredible and really enjoy having the bed... Not one issue after 35,000 miles.

My Rubicon has a quieter ride than my Tacoma SR5 did. Granted, I do have the hard top and the headliners. The Mojave was even softer and slightly quieter than my Rubi. This road noise and comfort complaint is just people parroting the same thing one person said. The truck is great and people just hate on it to hate. But the Wrangler and Glady with the 3.6 are good, decently reliable vehicles if cared for and maintained. The only things I hate are the aux battery system which can be bypassed and the plastic oil cooler housing which can be switched to a metal one.

The under hood, center hood release is impossible to find by feel to release to open the hood. 2024 Jeep Gladiator.

Love mine. Ecodiesel is a beast in this little truck. My 22 F150 hasn’t been run in bout 2 months. FX4 ford is roomy and comfortable but Jeep truck is just fun. It’s a Jeep and a truck! 33,000 miles not one issue.

Nobody wants to mention the lack of standard side curtain airbags. My 07 GC had them. Not everyone wants to take off the top .

I have a Gladiator Rubicon on 35's it drives quite well and not that bad to hear, these reviewers are ridiculous, the people who buy these are buying them for the offroad capability. if you want a sportscar buy a sports car, the cab is quite comfortable, I also have a F150 and my wife like the jeep better for around town better.

I just bought BFG A/T on my willys gladiator and it makes a huge noise difference!! And they look great to! The mud terrain tires are rougher and loud, but it is a Jeep. Dont buy a jeep expecting a Cadillac. We have taken 11 hour road trips the last 2 years and have gotten 21 mpg on the trips.

I drive a gladiatkr rubicon which i really like. It goes where i want it to, pulls my toy hauler trailer just fine, i mostly use the 12,000 pound winch for skidding firewood logs up to me to be bucked up. I have a ARE topper to keep the stuff i haul safe and dry.

I just bought a 2024 gladiator rubicon coming from a 2011 lifted wrangler. The only sacrifice you make with the gladiator is the approach/break over/departure angles when compared to a wrangler. However unless you are doing some crazy rock crawling with no armor it isn't that much of an issue, plus, that could always be overcome with a lift and tires. Hands down reviving the gladiator was the best decision JEEP made for its fan base, not so much for their bottom line from what I heard.

You forgot...the Gladiator BASE model has 4WD and Dana 44 axles. The base models of the trucks you compared it to are 2wd and IFS (and they're 4WD models are all IFS).

Had a 21 2door Wrangler Rubicon - assume the Gladiator also has - defroster that only blows in the center of rhe dash even though the duct goes across the entire dash - seats that are super stiff and have the seatback cramming into your lower back, who at Jeep aprroved the seats ? - rust on the hood hinge from the bolts when it was two weeks old - and the broken rear defroster - trading in for a 4Runner was the answer to all the Jeep issues for me !

Great video. I heard terrible reviews about the Jeep brand. They’re typically about the awful quality control issues and mechanical problems.
