Superb advice on the "special" 4th of July sales prices on Jeeps. "They'll probably get even better as the year goes on." You always have great advice for your viewers. The Rubicon Wrangler is and probably will always be my favorite Jeep. My wife still longs for a Gladiator. When I'm done writing my book, and the MS is firmly in the hands of its publisher...." Those fees in the small print are ridiculous. This is why CDJR dealers have a bad name.

@mot1343 all dealers for all brands play games and hidden fees and mandatory add ons. I promise though, if a person spends some hours learning current negotiation tactics the deals are there. They are not easy to get and dealers are masters at trying to suck evey penny out of you. And they do this multiple times a day every day. But the deals are there if a person wants to learn to work em.

In Arizona, I'm seeing 2024 Gladiators Mojave's for 46-47k and the X trims for 53-54k. Might pull the trigger in December end of month.

I’m in the market.. Thoughts on the “new” hurricane engine rumors that might come for the 2025 models to replace the current V6 and V8? Enough to wait vs hopefully get a really good deal on one now?

You can find 2023's fully loaded Rubicons, low mileage in the 30k range. This is the direction I went. Got a screaming deal

I think the “days at dealership” count resets to zero when they do a price change. Been keeping an eye on a Powerwagon and noticed that.

From cargurus website: A vehicle can be sold from one dealership to another, or change locations between partnering dealerships. We display both the number of days that the car has been at the current dealer lot (number of days at the dealership) and the total number of days the car has been for sale on CarGurus (number of days on CarGurus)

I live in Hawaii on the Big Island, just saw a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon at the dealer, asking $101,440!! Sheeshhhh!! They had a 2 door Wrangler Rubicon X, asking $72k!

My Jeep Dealer keeps bugging me to sell my vehicle it’s a 2021 Sahara Wrangler with Falken Wildpeaks 33’s and only 30,000 kilometres on it. I didn’t need a Rubicon as I’m not going rock crawling just to smash up my vehicle. Like they text me every week and tell me they will give me a smokin’ deal which they probably would the trouble is to get a 2024 wrangler I’d still have to probably pay another 30 Grand on top at the least. So ya’ no deal.

Except no leather option in the standard Rubicon. Have to get the over the top Rubicon X. Which is dumb.

@user-mb4wh2xf5c it doesn't quite work that way today. Today you find multiple Saharas on different dealers and you start working all of them. Do your research like I show in the video. Then start working them down lower and lower as you make calls

I have a dealership that has an AEV gladiator edition. It was priced 20,000 above msrp. It was 88,000. Now 65,000. Get the aev stuff free it says now. I thought about trading my tundra pro for it but not sure it that would be smart.

Not only do people pay those extra fees but something you may want mention os yes the dealers may be dropping the price $6k to $15k but they'll make you pay for dealer add ons of $3k. So be ready to fight with them or pay that stuff. I honestly wouldnt buy shit only out of necessity

If Jeep started lowering the interest rate by carrying their own loans, they'd start selling a heck of a lot more vehicles. Btw i expect that to happen before the end of the year to make their yearly #'s look better.

Still not enough - its only going down to what it should've been. No Bailouts for them under Trump & they know it and I would only consider a Pentastar V6 - No Way for a Fiat Hybrid - Base Wrangler.

Suppose when they increase the price they are more likely to negotiate down BUT when they reduce price they negotiate to ADD the destination and other fees. In the end, you think you negotiated

Not a good highway vehicle. My Elevation GMC is a much nicer vehicle at the same price. Tested the Wrangler today. It was OK, but I'm not impressed.

@RequstingFlyby typically Christmas to NY is best time to buy. But also need to make sure deal has enough inventory still by that time. Jeep has already said they will not produce 2025s until the huge majority of 24s are sold. So dealers will be tighter on deals if they know they won't have any on the lots

It’s a Jeep. They are still way overpriced. I would buy a truck for those prices. Jeeps use to be known to be affordable. I don’t know why anyone would buy one. I would if they actually priced them what they are worth. They deserve to go out of business. Greedy

we buy them because they can do things other vehicles cant and they have a fun factor that other vehicles dont. And when you know how to negotiate jeeps their prices are reasonable if not excellent.

@@Jason-Samko yeah the fun factor I get it. Ten years ago that included everyone. Seems like they think they have a luxury vehicle now! How many years old a vehicle till you find a good deal? I do agree with you about wanting one. Think they are selling to a different market. Make it affordable again. Bring back your loyal customers. Maybe I’m wrong. I am old enough to know my opinion isn’t relevant. Lol.
