I think im on a different planet than everyone else. I think 50k for a jeep wrangler is absolutely insane. These should be 35 to 38k trucks. Companies are trying to set the norm to be that's what everything cost so it's normal. Everyone appears to be falling for it.

A dealer adding leather seats to a Sport is extra stupid. People have never bought the base model because they want a bunch of stuff added at the dealer.

My local dealers are not dealing yet on Wranglers! Starting in early July I started to work my two local Jeep dealers and they were not negotiating at all on Wranglers. They were giving a tiny dealer discount and whatever Jeep offered and that was it. To this day, over two months later, ALL of the Wranglers I looked at in early July are still sitting on the lots! None of them have sold. I think with the potential of a rate cut later this month, dealers are going to set on their inventory and hope for rates to come down as a way to spark buyers. I don't think the timing of that is realistic but that seems to be what I am seeing. In fact, I have seen some of the Wranglers deals get WORSE than they were in July, seems like the greedy dealers are doubling down. Mostly I saw them pushing leases on the 4xe models where the tax credit for EV goes to the lease holder (Chrysler Capital) to buy down the lease. Those leases were garbage if you really dissect them. Wrangler is heavily overpriced, and the trouble is the dealers in my area only order high end ones - Loaded Sport S's or up. They all sticker at well over $50K to start. Too much for most people.

Forget jeep incentives and what the local dealer tells you. Shop online buy online negotiate 20-25% off and just go to dealer to sign and pick It up

@@Jason-Samko 20-25% off Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator is very very few and far between. 15% would be a good deal. While I am all for discounts, I don't want Jeep to become like Ram and have their used values suck because they discount them so heavily. That is one reason Toyota is by far the number one car maker world wide - they keep used values up for their customers and that creates returning/loyal customers.
@Jason-Samko3 ай бұрын
@huntsimple9527 to each their own but toyota is the worst value today. Value only come from the purchase. Resale price is set by market. You have to get a good deal buying to get any value out at the end. Toyota value is only a few percent more than other brands but the deals avail at purchase of ram and chevy and nissan are many many points higher. Making real world value of other brands much better. And I'm not talking about the stories of inflationary value where someone owned a truck for u years and only put 80k miles on it and sold it for more than they paid stuff. And I have never bought a jeep or ram (11 new ones now) and not got atleast 20% off

@kkcarlson24 have not looked into the 4xe prices yet. But I would be guessing that and the Sahara would be same as other wranglers and I would think 20-25% is very doable with good negotiation skills right now

Deals lol, I called about a new 2024 jeep gladiator that was 28,600, it was bare bones. So I call and the dealer tells me after fees it 30,600. Which is a good price, even though this thing had manual windows, but the kicker was I had to finance through Chrysler, I said ok my credit score is a little over 800 what would the interest be? Salesman tells me even with tier 1 credit, you either pick big discount or 20% interest rate. So I’ll just find a used one, hate dealing with dealers on new cars, it’s a headache everytime.

Willys is a good price ? 😂😂 None of them are a good deal. Bought a 2door Rubicon in 2021 - $42K, got rid of it 11 months later for a 4Runner TRD Offroad. Build quality is a night and day difference. Top dog Rubicon 4dr should be 45k max, and the rest under 40k. Having a sticker of 60k and giving a 8k discount is hilarious !! 😅😂

Forget 20-25% off. Around here they are finally letting the go with huge losses. My buddy just picked up a brand new 2023 Gladiator, nicely equipped with a MSRP of $55k for $29k plus tax. If you don't get at least $25K off MSRP you are getting a loser deal now on a Gladiator or Wrangler. Shop around folks, don't settle for 25% off, shoot for 40% off or more. Haha.

I had a 4xe with 48k on it. It needed a new battery and a new gas engine. It had rod knock for a long time and the motor was eventually replaced. I got an Ineos. Wranglers are now terribly overpriced and the powertrains are underwhelming AND TERRIBLE. I loved the torque from the hybrid and ran 40s on mine and used it off road regularly. However it’s not a 70k value. I hope the get back on track.
