I own the 2021 Version-it's a great bike-unsurpassed value for the money and as mentioned affordable liability ins.

In a few days i can pick up my 2024 650, very excited to use it. As a total beginner with just experience on the Z650 for not more than 20hrs in total taking classes for the licence and less than an hour testdrive on the 650 and even less on the Z900 on a testdrive I could say that tt aint the fastest but it surely is comfortable and good enough for daily city use. Fuel milage, comfort, easy to use, low $ for bike and insurance, its whats been said on most reviews and made me pull the trigger on it. Reviews like these did help me choosing as well, and its good to find another new one like yours taht confirms my choice to get a 650 to be a good one :)

I've had my Ninja 650 since 2018 Love it, and not getting rid of it! Also have a '23 CBR 650, just got a ZX4rr delivered to the house last month (my son's bike) but I ride it sometimes. I'm also restoring a '09 R6. But out of ALL my bikes, and I've owned more than 6 since 1987.. My Ninja is the most 'streetable and comfortable! If I ride for more than an hr, I take the Ninja. Under 45 minute rides here & there, I take the Honda!

@@PopsRacer61 I guess I don’t have much to compare to. I’ve only had extensive riding experience on a ninja 250, cbr500r and ninja 650. Of those the ninja 650 has been so much more fun to ride. It’s quick but not insanely fast. I’m really enjoying it! Thanks for sharing!

@@FireflyAndGreenGoblin ABSOLUTELY ! 🦾 ..if you've ridden all those bikes, you're doing pretty good and sounds like you ride the way you're supposed to. Stay safe !

Dude, I can't believe what I saw in your video. I'm just watching you riding along, doing your review, when beginning at about the 5:30 mark I suddenly say to my self...the surroundings on that 2 lane road look very familiar. Sure enough, I see the water with the docks off to your right. You were riding north on route 707 in Jensen Beach! I'm like, no way. When I saw the nuclear power plant upstream, I knew I was right. Next, you are heading back west towards route 1 in Port Saint Lucie. Finally, you went under the turnpike and got on 95 going north. I'm actually from south central Pennsylvania. Way back in 1976 my father bought a lot on Nettles Island. I was 16 at the time...lol. Fast forward to the present when last fall my wife and I returned to the Island and stayed 6 weeks. I'm retired and my wife works from home fulltime. So, she easily could continue to work from our rental. During our stay last fall we took our dog and drove up 707, then turning west, we went a few miles to a state park with a baseball field, where we could let our dog roam freely. (Sorry for the long story.) The reason I was watching this video is because I am just beginning to think about buying a bike. I'm a total noob. I also happen to be 64. I haven't taken the MSF course yet either. I began to learn about bikes by watching reviews here. I eventually learned enough to think that I'm going to want either a Ninja 500 or a 650. It's so funny how there are many riders from both camps, each giving their opinions on what kind of bike would be best for a total beginner. I'm going to check out a 500 this Saturday. My local dealer doesn't have any 650's in stock or used at the moment. I might have to go to another dealer to sit on a 650. I'd be curious to hear your opinion. I'm 6'2" and weigh 190. Maybe I'll get a chance to meet up with you this fall. Thanks so much for reading my story.

@@swpod59 Wow, thanks for sharing. And yeah we moved into the treasure coast a few years back. There are some beautiful areas around here. I’ve heard good things about the 500 but I would highly recommend checking out the 650 if you can. It sits upright so it’s very comfortable and I’ve ridden it for hours. I fell in love with how great it felt after sitting on it once at a dealership. Hit us up when you’re back in the area and we can meet up for a ride.

You could always open the clutch when you release the throttle to cruise or am I missing something?

That sucks about the vibration. I had a ninja 300 and sold it because the vibration made my hands and feet fall asleep.

@@SpeedDemonExpress Mine do too! The grip puppies are helping a lot for the hands though. For my feet I try to reposition them frequently while riding.

Could you run comfortably from the law on a 650?
@FireflyAndGreenGoblin
@FireflyAndGreenGoblin Ай бұрын
First, I gotta say I don’t support running from the law. If you get caught breaking the law, own up and face the consequences for your poor decisions. That being said, in the city you probably could but you would get caught on the highway without a doubt. It isn’t fast enough to outrun police cars.
