Bought a 2024 Ninja 650 ABS this March, my first bike ever and I couldn't be happier! Did a full Yoshimura Alpha with a flashed ECU from Moore Mafia, sounds absolutely amazing and the bike runs smooth as butter. Highly recommend!

@@wendellmalone8347Yes, I think it's the perfect balance of power and safety. Heard so many people say they got a 400 or 500 and got bored in just a few months. I don't see myself ever "needing" more power than this, but I also don't feel like the front end is going to lift up every time I get on the throttle. Just seems perfect.

@Mike-ow5tz6 ай бұрын
@@wanderlust0120 Haven't dyno'd it, no interest really. But you can look at Moore Mafia's typically ECU fash to see the power difference. For me it's the handeling and ride, seems so much more efficient than before.

Love my 650 ninja. Fun but wont kill you. Flickable and light (super fun to drive), comfortable and cheap on insurance. If you're someone like me who has no desire to go faster than 200km/h this a great looking sport bike.
@MrLove-6664 ай бұрын
No matter the speed, it can kill you. Not even from you, it can be many other things that will wreck you. Got mine since 2016. I am an aggressive driver so for me, 212km/h top speed helps me not to go faster. Sounds? Lawnmower, that's why I got a yosh. Agree with you for fun, light, comfy (I did an Iron Butt challenge and I did around 1400km in one day from Cabot Trail to south of Quebec.) cheap on insurance and plates as well. And yes I would recommend it for beginners, with a grain of salt. I started on a 300 and I should've gone on 650 from the start.

I have a 230cc dual sport and have gotten pretty used to riding by now on it thinking of a ninja 650 for a road toy, I don't think the 650 would be too powerful for a newer rider if they know the basics of counter steering and breaking but I'm still not sure haven't actually rode one yet. Don't want something I'll grow out of too quickly if I already know the basics of riding in general from my dual sport. So the 650 sounds perfect, and it looks fantastic.

I never did much research into 600s but everything I see says this is the most well rounded bike. I'm glad there's a 600 with a 300 like seating position because the super sport position is ass

While i am saving money to buy my first bike i am checking out all vids about the 650. Yours is the latest decent review video available to watch, thanks for uploading :) I share your enthusiasm in many ways, from looks to performance, but i also have to admit that while i am saving money i have tried different bikes and particularly the Z900 jumps out in terms of power and sound and the smoothness of driving. Problem for me is my budget, it is a naked which is not my taste (for now), and it might not be the best choice for a beginner even though i am nearing 50s of age and know how to respect the throttle. So, as of now i am still planning to go for the 650, ride if for a year, perhaps 2, then jump to something bigger if i still desire to do so. This 2024 color surely looks nice! The olive green is also 2024, right? A beauty as well. Thanks again, ride safely!

That's an honest impression of the bike; good on ya. My first bike was a 2010 Ninja 650, so it's doable with discipline, as you mentioned. However, it is heavier (especially the older ones) than a 400 or 500, which could be the biggest challenge with more powerful bikes (non-supersport bikes, so you don't have the peaky power curve).

Cool review. That's how I felt when I first got onto my '21 Ninja 650, up from years of enjoying the freeway capable Ninja 250Rs. The torque and acceleration boost from 0 to 60 is a lot of fun, but I agree, not something I would've been disciplined well for when first learning to ride compared to the more tame 250R, which could hit 0 to 60 in about 5 to 6 seconds with a top speed of about 100 mph. This bike, 127 mph is fast enough and overall, a really comfortable, reliable sporty motorcycle for the roads. Thanks.

Just purchased a 2024 Ninja 650 ABS, I got the Black/Grey Color. I picked it up next week as they are going to lower it for me 2 inches, and also do the plate bracket tidy kit in the rear. I am very excited but nervous because I am coming from a Harley Iron 883, and never rode a Sport Bike before, So I am hoping the transition is a very smooth one.

hopped on this bike after only having experience with a Drz400Sm and may i just say was extremely underwhelmed with the power considering its a 650. Im not experienced with the powerbands but the bike is so smooth where it doesnt feel like that quick of a bike, super enjoyable ride and you definitely feel one with the bike but i dont feel its as quick and intimidating as some make it out to be for it being a 650 (considering the impression i was expecting coming from a smaller bike)🤷♂️who knows maybe i just need more to get that feeling but aye

Hello, I am a beginner and I'm currently going through my courses and I was interested in this particular bike. On the bikes we have, Kawasaki z650 I think, if I release the clutch too fast between shifts, the motorcyle kinda struggles but I notice here that you release it very quickly between shifts. How come ? Don't you have to ease the clutch all the way down after shifting ? I love riding very much and I'm interested in learning from experienced riders such as yourself.
@PopsRacer613 ай бұрын
...if going real slow to barely moving (2mph-5mph) ..ease the clutch out! the faster you go from 2md gear to 6th release the clutch faster. - After 1st gear, I don't use the clutch except to downshift. (clutchless shifting) I also been riding since 1985😎
