2024 Kia Telluride (X-PRO): Kia Finally Fixed The Telluride!

I just bought this exact telluride same trim and color but with the Terracotta interior and it looks so good. Unfortunately I had to pay high above MSRP for it which really sucked but This color and trim with the terracotta interior is nearly impossible to find so when I found one It was legit hard to walk away from even with the high price. Fingers crossed I didn’t waste a bunch of money and this vehicle turns out to be my family and adventure vehicle for at least 10yrs.

Love the telluride. I really, really, really wanted a 2023. If I could have found one that I wanted at msrp, I would have bought it... but all I could find is either some ugly color, or some ugly colored interior, or not the trim I wanted. Anything I wanted was $5k - 15k over, and I'll never pay over msrp for a vehicle so that was not happening. I have a friend who has a 2023, and I put about 400 miles on it in the exact trim I had wanted and everything. I went on black Friday and came upon a 2023 santa fe limited.. has all the same features as the telluride with a little less space, I don't need the space though - the santa fe is much larger than I actually need. I got this vehicle for $40k out the door and zero percent financing and couldn't be happier with it. I'm glad I couldn't find a telluride because it would have cost more, and not been zero percent financing.

I just found out that the screen also offers a "dynamic" screen which shows the sky/horizon that also reflects the current sky conditions (i.e. sunny, night etc.)!!

I agree on the horsepower and torque. Kia would sell a lot more if the hp was 350+ and the torque around 400+. It would compete against other brands.

It’s really not supposed to be a powerhouse. It’s a luxurious vehicle that’s relatively cheap compacted to the competition. They already can’t build enough of them so there’s no need. But I guess it would be cool to see a high end model with a beefier motor.

I would be very cautious taking the x-pro off road. Since Kia doesn't offering any under carriage protection. The most you get is a center front locker, with a snow mode. Overall this is a fantastic family hauler.

@@brokeboy87 Yes that is a nicely equipped vehicle. Base model telly (18in wheels) + front allow skid plate $350 + all terrain tires ~$650 = ~$41k Not bad compared to Trailsport Pilot 2023 = $49k+

I don't think a Telluride owner would aspire to tackle the type of terrain a Tacoma is designed for, but they might want to tow a trailer on a logging road or a rough gravel road to get to a campsite. That may not be a rock-crawler's idea of offroading, but it is a version of offroading, and it's perfectly suited for that. Bottom line: It's not inaccurate to say the Telluride is an offroad vehicle, as long as you're mindful of what kind of offroading it can (and cannot) do.

Surprised my wife with a 2023 Prestige X Pro in Wolf Grey that I was lucky enough to find in perfect shape. Looks like they are exactly the same as the 24 models with the exception of the amber lights. Which is fine as I prefer the white lights to the amber.

Jerry Seiner Kia may not have any "dealer mark-ups" but they do force you pay $2k for "paint and interior sealers" that are a waste of money. Also, they charge another $1.3k in mystery "fees". So, not exactly "no kind of dealer markups".

I just took delivery of a a 2024 Telluride SX Prestige....it is amazing, but still trying to figure out if there is anything NEW other than the amber DRL's ? Salesman wasn't sure..... is everything else a carry over. Not a huge deal, but do wish they would have updated the 2024's with 'wireless' Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.' Still wired connection, as far as I can tell. So - what else is new other than the amber drl's? I'd like to check it out on mine.

I do not think that was an issue with any of the key fob Kias. It was the cheap kias that used non chip regular keys.

Taking the 3.5 turbo six from the Genesis would be a bad idea. It would steal sales from a new luxury brand that’s trying to make a footprint in the industry. The 3.8 six is fine. That same engine can compete with rivals such as the Nissan Pathfinder and Honda Pilot but also their luxo counterparts, the Infiniti QX60 and Acura MDX. If anything, Kia/ Hyundai should increase horsepower and torque in their tried and true 3.8 six.

No you have to go the the highest trim level of pristige to get that. It will also come with hud, Napa leather and upgrade headliner

Interesting . . Ebony black paint is $0 ONLY for EX X-LINE with a black leather interior. Add terracotta or sage green you then have to pay $495 for paint. I emailed KIA about it - no word or fix yet. Maybe a glitch. Anyone else know why the mpg is 20mpg compared to 21mpg last years model is the same lol

Nice vehicle inside and out. But only ONE engine choice and 20 to 24mpg is below average. Kia is coming on strong, but many of their vehicle lines are overstyled IMO.

Did they fix the issue with using snow mode? The vehicle literally wouldn’t respond. Big complaints from 2023 owners. Deal breaker for those living where it snows. PS we don’t need mega sold out.
