2024 KTM 125 SX First Ride! | RAW

Yep, it's already that time of the year. 2024 models are officially rolling off the assembly line and into our hands. We recently took delivery of our 2024 KTM 125 SX and ventured out to the track for our first impression. Vicki Golden and Rene Garcia spun some laps on the well-liked two stroke at Cahuilla Creek before giving us their first thoughts!

It’s always funny watching riders who mostly ride 450s try and understand the 125. Everything they werent so sure about is the entire reason the rest of us ride them! The more work, the more satisfying. And the sound…. Oh the sound…. Like a Ferrari 355. Doesnt have to be crazy fast to make you fall in love with it.

Great stuff. Is there actual confirmation that the ECU map switch actual changes the fueling characteristics as opposed to it just advancing/retarding the timing? Thanks.

Great video. Really appreciate the information. Couple things missing: 1. You mentioned there are no changes between the 2023 and 2024 models, but KTM claims they made suspension changes (on their web site). Would be good to know what those changes are. 2. Last year the 2023 was plagued with mapping issues. Have these issues been addressed on the 2024? Thanks again for the great vid!

no changes in maps. They tried and didn't make it in time. Word is new maps will drop this fall.

From what I understand, the only changes made were to the suggested factory suspension settings, it seems like the spring rates are the same tho

125 are great i have a 01 cr 167 bigbore now its parked forever because once you ride a 2 stroke 250 you never want to go back to a 125 too much gearshifting and no power compared to a 250 just saying

TBI I have the 23 TC125 it’s cool you don’t have to play with jets but i always run mine in white map.
