Why didn’t you ask? The Dominar 250 is smooth but otherwise lacklustre. We don’t recommend it at all. The N250 is the best commuter of this group. Comfortable, swift and efficient. Quality has improved too. Gixxer 250 is a slightly sportier machine than the N250. But still very much a commuter. And now also growing old - Suzukis not given it any upgrades since it launched. The Duke is the fastest of this lot by some margin and by far the sportiest in feel. The new chassis also makes it a reasonably comfortable bike which wasn’t the case earlier. I'll be upgrading from the Ntorq race xp to my first bike. This bike will only be for long highway rides and not daily commutes, I love going fast and have 20000+ km experience of riding on highways. What would you guys suggest, the 250 or the 390 ? I want a bike that goes blisteringly fast and has great sense of rawness to it. I dont want a well tamed motorcycle that does not allow me to correct my mistakes.

Loved the video n the summary, I bought hunter 350 around 6 months back but I feel like I have grown out of it and it feels too lazy and boring now. I test rode duke 250 and felt happy with the power and brakes. I have been thinking of switching to duke 250 but worried what if i get bored of it too after some months. The 250 won't get boring in a hurry for sure, Abheet, but sure, consider a 390 if you must. It's A LOT FASTER and quicker than your Hunter so be careful!

I’m on the lookout for my second motorcycle to be used mostly for commute and occasional weekend rides, with maybe some touring, as well (I hope so). I’ve always had a thing for the CB300R and given it’s recent price cut, it becomes all the more enticing. On the other hand, the new Duke 250 seems like a better decision, in all departments, I strongly like it. Am I justified in comparing these two? What would be your advice for me? Of course, I’ll take a test-ride before putting down the money but I’d like to know your views. Also, a discussion, albeit small, on the CB300R would be awesome. The 390's power is explosive and it's a relentlessly aggressive machine. The 250 is not like that. It's pretty fast etc but never super-aggressive

Hey Guys, I have been riding Yamaha Fz 150 V2 since 2016 it's time for me to upgrade and 250 Duke has been the top one for me so far in consideration. However, I am a bit sceptical about buying a KTM since Yamaha for me has been tight(in the sense that the bike is good again) motorcycle after every service that I have done through service centres in the initial years and even through local mechanics. The Yamaha FZ150 still hasn't lost its charm, it requires the annual maintenance and the bike is tight again. Will KTM 250 be the motorcycle for me like the FZ 150 has been since the last 8 years? P.S. I am a fairly dull rider, and don't revv the engine as much. Sure I do speed up 2 on 10 Times. City rider who enjoys maneuvering the bike in traffic so a lot of quick shifts from 1st to 4th gear. I recently visited the Yamaha showroom to get the FZ fixed near the showroom condition (Semi-Restoration) which will cost me 20k(clearly still not ready to let go of Yamaha but any other Yamaha upgrade seems unreasonable from price point hence the KTM) Please help/ suggest......

@@neeraj880108 🌚 its high revv engine. Torque output is at peak of revv range. How do you expect torque in low end ? What sort of logic it is ? Not barking by reading the spec sheet. Took vstrom for 250 kms ride. Rental one. Then took duke 250 after 1 month from the same rental company. Buzzing engine of course. It's not as smooth as Japanese engine. Pickup is brutal.

Aprilia sr 160 is old and sales are all time low at 300unit per month. Aerox has shown people are buying higher segment scooter at 2000unit per month. @@chandansoren8002 vespa 150 is above 1.5 and reach 1.7 ex show room. More expensive than aerox still doing better than both aerox and sr 160. I think people want more on 150cc segment. For more price people want bigger engine, bigger underseat storage to store full face helmet bigger fuel tank and more bigger dominating body. Sr 160 fulfill only bigger engine, everything else is normal scooter and with less features. Aerox success shows people are willing to pay more if upgrade is significant one.

Have been riding Gixxer 155 for 9 years now. Is it good enough to update to 250 or is it good to go for 390? Am gonna be selling Gixxer. Will only keep one bike. City/long rides are 60/40. But I usually go for rides of 400km every other week in Gixxer. So longest would be 600km. Love longer rides but time constraints. Please give your opinion.
