That has to be the cleanest track and engine set-up I have ever seen most tracks are buried in dirt etc. Good Job on keeping your brand new machine clean 😊
@stiehllandscaping976810 ай бұрын
Maintenance is key to keeping the machine running. I’m religious about keeping the engine bay clean for fire hazards. I never touch the tracks though lol. This machine does a really good job at keeping the tracks clean. The only buildup is behind the drive sprocket. Everything else usually stays clean.

Finally Kubota is following bobcat setup on ease of maintenance, Bobcat has max control which is awesome, remote control a machine from outside making life a dream
@right86307 ай бұрын
I’d say bobcats is a nightmare to work on at least the older m series but I even think this beats the r series on ease or maintenance and repair.
@thomaslecour24627 ай бұрын
@@right8630 I only know of the maintenance aspects of skid steers, bobcat is very nice and easy to work on, the other nice feature Bobcat has is the max control option, remote control from my iPhone, all other skid steer manufacturers dropped the ball on having this, all I can say is amazing to have, I’ve had on my Bobcat for 2 years, no problems or issues
@right86307 ай бұрын
@@thomaslecour2462 that’s cool but to say a bobcat is easy to work while I own one is very silly 😂 love bobcat but the overpricing and tricks my local dealer has done might cause me to go with the new Kubota svl 75-3 they finally matched but the financing with Kubota is just better and the lift height is just better than bobcats and that matters too me. Who cares about controlling a skidsteer with their phone? It’s a work piece of equipment. The t66 vs svl75-3 are equally as good and Kubota included a bucket bobcat wants to charge 3k for a bucket before I got a quote from Kubota now they want to pay for half but that still 1500 bucks for something that should be included. I’m sorry but bobcat is living fat and sassy off their rep unfortunately they nickel and dime you. In the end I’m deciding between the two both ended up being the same price after I had to play games with bobcat which is ridiculous but I get better financing from Kubota just saying brand loyalty isn’t good for anyone even though I love bobcat I’m probably not going to buy another one.

As a tall guy, do you feel like the screen location is a deal breaker?
@stiehllandscaping97682 ай бұрын
I like the screen location because I do not have to look up when backing up. I can glance at the screen while watching the mulcher. I've ran some other machines where the screen is up top and it is trickier to me.

Other benefit of a 75 is a smaller machine gives you more chargeable hours, a lot easier to keep that moving. A 75 will do everything a 95 can but a 95 wont do everything a 75 will.

Looking at the 75-3 as well w a Loftness Battle Ax. High flow will be critical for this. Which Loftness are you running? Love to know bc I don’t want a mulcher that is too much for the 75-3. Last question, how is it for grading? I’ve got several acres to grade / landscaping here in VA. Our farm is on a mtn - small mtn - it’s VA not Colorado. Love to get your thoughts on grading w the 75-3. Like you the 97-2 is out of budget. Great review. Thank you.

I had a 2020 SVL95-2 running an FAE head, worst machine I’ve ever had. They made some improvements for sure but I see you’re fighting with the “trash funnels” at the lift arms and the dirt leaking through the corners of the door. My SVL95 was so loud I had to wear hearing protection and I choked on the dust constantly because it wasn’t a one piece cab. It had a multitude of other poor designs that appear to have been addressed so no point in talking about it. I switched to Cat 299D3 Land Management and aside from the front door, which has been addressed with their resent model update, it was so superior in every way I would never consider a Kubota to run a mulcher. The only drawback to the Cat was cab space, which again they have improved. I’m 6’1 200lbs and I was snug in there, no room to stretch my legs around but it forced me to get out of the cab to move around which actually felt better at the end of the day. The Cat Land Management was perfectly balanced to the mulcher head so it didn’t tip forward on an incline but all the added weight made is useless for anything residential or landscaping. I’ve ran a GEHL, ASV 120 and a Bobcat with the mulcher head and all had their good points, but nothing compared to the the Cat for long days in the seat bouncing over rocks, ruts and wood debris in road ditches and cattle pastures. Good luck and happy mulching.
