I just received my 317G from my dealer about two weeks ago and it is AWESOME!!! Yes it might be more expensive than a Kubota but you get what you pay for. I'm not knocking Kubota but it just wasn't for me,plus my dealer is a great guy and has been in contact with me a few times just to see how I like it so far! Plus your videos helped me make my decision so I really appreciate you taking the time to make these awesome videos! Sorry to hear about your grandpa.

Well my 75-3 will pick up on side of a 40ft high cube shipping container no problem. I think they turned down relief for the video. I rented a 75-2 for a month before I recieved my 75-3. 75-3 is much stronger.

This is a bias dealer video, Id still buy the SVL just because of the door situation. Try using that Deere and getting out when the attachment is not all the way down.

Love this channel. Believe it or not you convinced me to buy a 325g in stead of a Cat 289. I will stick with my Cat excavators but Deere all of the way on skid steers. Next buy will be a 335P

Kubota skids reliefs are set weak from factory, a few small adjustments and that 75 will pickup more that that 317, maybe you should do a comparison vid of working on these machines, serviceability ect

Serviceability on the JD is super easy.... just bring it back to the dealer and give them whatever they ask for and wait however long they like.

Lift capacity is what most JD demos are based on, not overall job performance. It’s give and take with equipment anymore As well as dealer support..There are drawbacks to the Deere IMO like terrible visibility from pretty much every angle but forwards and the booms bending-flexing under load. Our local dealer had around 8, 331g-333g booms sitting in a scrap pile behind the dealership. I asked why and really didn’t get the answer.. another local contractor bought a 333g used and his was apparently bent a little when he bought it.. The dealership did replace it so good for JD dealer support on his.

317g is a little tank. Few things would make it better, push front of arms out to improve visibility. Connect joysticks to air seat , improve quick attach system, optional suspension undercarriage, 1 piece cab to reduce noise.

Pull the starter out of the 317 than we will talk , they do have better hydraulic but between emissions and serviceability they suck

The Hydraulic are turned down. You can manage all settings on the screen while using the hydraulics, it's just on simple setting to change on the screen in the settings menu. The cover over the lock cylinder on the John Deere is Bad idea because it gets full gravel, dirt and damages the cylinder or will not lock or unlock because it is too full and has to be removed and cleaned out.

Despite all the advantages there’s two big ones that are no goes for me with Deere. The biggest being the swing out door. I need a machine that I can load and unload welders, generators, etc..that are chained to my bucket. I’m a one man show so I don’t have anyone outside the machine that can hook and unhook my chains because Deeres loader has to be all the way on the ground or raised above the cab. I also can’t run the machine with the door open to communicate with anyone during the days when I have help. So that right there kills it for me. Second is Deeres absolute software ban to its customers. I can’t take my machine to a dealer every time I need to flash the drive. I’m on a budget and I do my own maintenance and repairs. If I know I’m gonna be locked out of the software, I need to shop elsewhere. There’s also Kioti/Huyundai who now make skidsteers with overhead doors. They’ve gotten with the program so they are options as well. I’ll look at the shortfalls with the Kubota and compare to Kioti and Huyundai for my next machine.

You can absolutely turn down the radio or access all screen functions while in full operation simply using the dial. Not difficult. I have owned both the 317 and currently the 75-3. My Kubota dealer is awesome. The 317G is more expensive than the 75-3 so I would expect it to have more features.

I own bobcat t66 and kubota svl75-3. Visibility over your shoulders is non existent on kubota. I know it has backup camera but I have been operating for 30 years . I Always look back. 25 hours up for sale. To much liability on job site.

What would happen if you turned the pump up on the Kubota all together put a stronger hydraulic pump in it doesn't really matter I'm interested in the John Deere I'm interested in that 317g just simply because it doesn't have all of that government fluid crap on it

I thought this was a comparison video? It sounds like it's only a dog the Kubota video because I'm trying to sell John Deere. You really discredit the validity of your video when you don't equally point out flaws in the John Deere as well. You are very much incorrect on the touch screen part. You have the option of turning the hydraulic lock on or off within the system. You can change the settings all day long as you move with ease...

Can you elaborate? We are the dealer, we offer John Deere’s service software to anyone that wants it. We are fully transparent and want the customer to have every right to repair their equipment.

@@EvergladesTV- 1) you know exactly what he meant. Don’t play stupid. Deere is worse than Apple when it comes to repairs. 2) if what you say is true, you are exceedingly rare. 1 in about 3,500 dealers I’d say.
