Compared to the competition yeah it’s a bargain. You can’t compare a GX to a rav4, CR-V, etc because they’re not the same audience of car buyers.

Y’all have to see it in person!!!! It looks better here!!! The Japanese look still very strong and for some reason I saw it and there’s was a 4Runner and not much of a difference!

@@gudbread8523 So? And go and see it in person is not that impressive at all!! The finished product of the Defender is superior it does look like a premium vehicle this one is not!!! Old school interior and is just missing what a “luxury” SUV should be now….. you say ….. the LX 600 now that one can compete with premium SUV!!! Again reliability and luxury are 2 different things and that’s why y’all Toyota/Lexus fanboys have the disadvantage!!!! Is not a premium vehicle even the is advertised as one!!

I have a GX 470 it’s a 2004 with 97,000 miles and it looks good. Great automobile I get more compliments on my 20-year-old car.

It looks like they are adding $15000 markup on premium and luxury, and $20000 markup on overtrail. At least this is what I heard from Lexus dealership in Sacramento

15-20k sounds a bit much it’s not a rare vehicle. Dealerships will probably be limited on inventory on these But I have yet to see any for sale

What pissed me off was they had a recall on the dashboards and because I moved I didn’t get it so they won’t honor my dashboard and it has cracks in it for 20 years old. It’s still incredible shape.

That roof not even having at least a ‘vent’ feature is a huge missed opportunity. SUV’s like this aren’t new… they could have done what Mitsubishi did with the Montero and Isuzu did with the Trooper back in the day and just given it a large sunroof that recessed into the roof of the SUV…

I bought my Cadillac sedan for half of that. It gets mileage in the 30s, and it handles like a slot car. Keep your suv.

You should compare that with Lexus ES. Hybrid model maybe if you are thinking about saving for gas

@Este819 I am not too hip on hybrid cars. Too complicated. And I prefer sedans myself. I work for a faction of the government. No non US vehicles for me. GM is my go to when I'm car shopping.
