Today we're reviewing the Lexus LS500h, a LUXURY JDM sedan from Japanese luxury car maker Lexus (a Toyota company). The 2024 Lexus LS500h is the FLAGSHIP of the Lexus range, costing well over $200,000 to get into one. And it has VERY stiff competition, from the likes of the Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series and Audi A8.
Today we're going to take the Lexus LS500h for a comprehensive review, looking at its design, interior and practicality, luxury back seats, launch it from 0-100km/h and drive it on road by giving it A LOT of sauce.

@@saedalbittar1841 or unreliability, or cost... I've had 2 S classes and my best mate has had a number of 7 series. I'm not down on German cars, but you have to be real. And, even putting aside issues of cost and quality, while I like the current S class this Lexus is drastically more tasteful than the current 7 series which is absolutely atrocious.

This is what real class is. Genuine leather, proper wood, hand stitched parts, real metal trims & inlays and Japanese reliability! Buying German for the “historical quality” or the badge prestige is redundant. German quality is now nothing more than fluffing their vehicles with cheap electronic/software “features” in replacement of genuine quality materials.

I worked for Lexus from 92-07 , I was a 22yr old when I started and loved the original LS400, feels like yesterday when I worked for Lexus , we sue to call it a Japanese Caddi.

I want the es300h to come back. Such a great car! And the only hybrid I’d consider buying (yes it’s a Camry hybrid but the 2013 range ones were amazing inside

Good news is that, the es300h will get a huge refresh and facelift meaning that even the hybrid ones will be AWD/4-WHEEL-DRIVE. I am waiting for that refresh, better hybrid, better efficiency, better milege, and much more for sure. That is when I will buy the ES as well. One of my fav cars!

The non hybrid version comes with more power (3.5 v6 twin turbo) and conventional gear box (Not CVT) with more driving pleasure

It's nice but it's got WAY too many tech options. A bluray player AND a HDMI port is unnecessary. I love Lexus and I've wanted one for years, but honestly you could knock of 20k if it weren't for all that added tech

This has never really been competitive with the tech of the S Class and 7 series. It feels like when they bring out a new one, it's already a few years behind. It's like they design it for the German competition at the time they conceived it not for when it'll come out. They don't build it with stuff knowing it'll be released only maybe a few years after development started. So it feels dated from launch.
