Lincoln's smallest vehicle has a plug-in hybrid option, but is it worth the cost to jump up to the 2024 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring? We put it to the test.
PRN_TestDrive has launched an all-new website to compliment our videos! To see more photos and a written review about the vehicles we feature, plus exclusively content not published on KZbin head on over to www.prntestdri...
This video was made possible with the support of Elmec and their EVduty Smart Home Charger. You can schedule, control access, and even see your estimated charging costs from the EVduty smartphone app. Use public charging stations and grant access to your own all from the app. For more information about the EVduty Smart Home Charger visit: www.elmec.ca/l...
We hit the road in the 2024 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring, a compact luxury crossover PHEV with a 14.4 kWh battery, approximately 50 kms of EV range, and an as-test price just north of $80,000 CAD. In our testing we found that the Corsair PHEV charges at a maximum of 15A, or around 3.5 kW, which is half of what other PHEV/EVs have charged at. Find out everything about this vehicle on our full tour and review of the 2024 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring.
TestDrive is proudly produced in St Thomas, Ontario, Canada.

It's unfortunate that YT does weird things as your channel hadn't been showing up despite the fact I'm subbed. Anyway, I'm glad I looked it up and will pay more attention henceforth as I enjoy your thorough and informative content. Thanks!

We've heard this a lot recently, I believe there's a few comments like this posted within a few days of yours saying the same thing. I don't know what KZbin is doing on the backend, but we've been consistent with videos since the start. Hope you have a chance to check out a lot of the stuff we've published over the past while!

@@PRNTestDrive Bien sûr! As a Maritimer, I very much like that you guys test in a relatively similar environment. Keep up the great work!

The drive mode also changes the regen function, as do the paddle shifters. You want more regen, shift down. You more more regen, put the drive mode into "CONSERVE". If you're going to review a car, maybe you should learn more about it.

I compared this vehicle to the Alfa Romeo Tonale PHEV, and I bought the Tonale, for all the reasons you complained about, and a lot more.

We do hear from people that get crazy numbers out of their PHEVs, I know when we first reviewed the Chevrolet Volt I had commenters saying they were getting 120+ km EV range. If you're in town and use the re-gen braking a lot you'll definitely extend the overall range.

If you want the detailed power gauge display, put the car into "EXCITE" mode.

But it doesn't do that on this model.

The title didn’t indicate plugin hybrid. I have no interest in that but yet, I didn’t know until the video started.

I'd run before i bought another ford hybrid.. i never had the fuel issues, my mpg was great, but, the build quality was junk, rattles, and a ton of electrical issues.. the drivetrain was solid, but the computer controls.. yikes!

I had a good experience with my 2018 Focus Electric, and many people love their Fusion PHEVs, but this one just misses the mark. I believe Ford is discontinuing the hybrid Explorer for retail customers also. I think they need to go back to the drawing board on their electrified plans.

Where is a 72% parts made in America compact (reliable) SUV for the working class? Where is the customers' loyalty? This car is being made 72% parts made in America. And built dependable and "quality". This is not about narcissism. To build "luxury." Why do we live in a world where the for-profit banking allows the people to build wealth to afford these cars, yet this worker needs a zero percent loan to afford the cheap import. Do you see the problem? If you are gonna build a luxury car, I mean "reliable", I need it to be longer lasting with a 10-year interest-free car loan. And if banks are not-for-profit, how do we afford a "luxury" car? Try "quality", built 100% made in America. And interest-free loans. In the current for-profit banking system. The only way I'm gonna afford this car is to buy it very used, with no warranty and expensive repair bills, because you replaced quality with luxury. And I have a skilled trade employment. Who wants a car made wil skill. Not luxury.
