Between Jeff Sturgis and this guy I don’t think there was a single negative thing said. I will bookmark this review and rewatch in 12 months when we will likely hear the same formula. I used to really follow KZbin for insight but the big companies just shifted their marketing money to the social media influencers. For those who don’t know, there are tradeoffs with the Lift. It’s lighter but it has a stiffer draw cycle. I like lighter for some hunting applications but don’t think that’s good enough for a stiff draw. U can see it clearly in the came design and how ppl are drawing it back.

The new Elite Carbon Era is a way better bow tho, nothing against the lift, I own both.

The bowspeeds are all fudged! Very few companies hit their posted speeds....so I know this is bs. I love mathews and I'm not a hater...but not a fan boys! Lots of great bows out tbere

Brotha come on this was no more than a sells pitch and I’m a big Mathews fan. Lots of dishonest info here. It’s not quieter than the p4 decibel meter shows that and the draw cycle is most certainly stiffer and more aggressive hints more speed. Valley is smaller and has more holding weight at full draw as well. Shot sense also fits the phase 4.

Speeds were done at 80lbs mods at 80’/, also so not faster then phase 4 either. Only hangs is lighter n more pound options

Every review seems to be all positive and that’s it’s a definite upgrade. Seems like they nailed it more this year than any other year in the recent past

If you guys get these bows early you should be able to put the reviews early I went to buy a phase 4 and they told me the new ones come out soon You can see the Title target bows on the website but not this one I couldn’t figure out if they were putting out a new hunting model or not so I got what I wanted a phase 4 which is ok but I would have liked to get enough information

It sounds like you could have asked your shop pros and not fallen into the assumption trap. It also doesn't take much to find that hunting bows are always released in October and November. Moving forward just assume that the major manufacturers will release a new model annually. It would make no sense to release these early. The timing of your purchase is a personal choice. Every reviewer given early access to a consumer good signs an NDA and agreement on information blackout until the official marketing launch.

@@Boatflipit No matter I am super satisfied with my Phase 4 I haven’t been able to shoot much I’m having a Knee Replacement in December but I have just been shooting a little at 20 and 30 yards and I Robin Hooded one How cool is that This bow will last me 5 years or more and no telling what Matthews will have by then

The bow is a winner, but this review is a little stretched. Nearly every other person that tried this bow noticed slower speeds across the board. Overall a great bow and will hold its own, but this review is a total sales pitch at best.

Wow, reading off a teleprompter and mathews telling you what to say? The cams are worse in draw cycle and produce about the same speed when measured to ATA spec. They are light and shoot nice, but mathews does have flaws
