Hey Greg, nice review. The car is cool, but in my opinion spending 2.5million to get a 2Litre, 4 cylinder turbo... feels like you are robbing yourself. I am all for new technology and improvement, however when it comes to Merc and especially the 63... if it's not a v8 it should never be called a 63.

So many options for that amount of money. Porsche cayenne gts, rs6/rs7, maserati gracale trofeo. Mercedes is actually insane for putting a 2 liter engine in an AMG.

The interior quality is bad. But not as bad as the new X3. I was shocked at how bad the X3 interior was especially since BMW was doing better than Merc until now. Now it seems like a competition as to who can sell the most expensive car with cheapest interior and see which fool will fall for it... But you guys better not say anything bad about it otherwise the manufacturers won't give you more cars to "objectively" "test".

I agree with you, i've always called out MB to have sub-par interior quality, but over the past year and the new models, it's got much better. I don't get BMW's to test, so i'm not sure what the new X3 is like.

Nonsense ... Mercedes is only doing it because of all the emission restrictions the EU put on their car manufacturers. Pumping noise into the cabin will never compete with that V8 sound.

Ja, this car is beautiful, but I'm not sure the price is justified for a 4 port engine. It's a pity that the people who know and seem to love the AMG are it's clients more than AMG itself. I understand the Euro emissions crap and all.........but, ja! I would rather go into something like an X5 M60i. Better value for money I think. And you're spot on about the augmented driving experience. I mean, that droned sound from the speakers is terrible! Anyway, great review.
