I cannot resist watching Anna. As always you look amazing and I love the orange dress. My biggest concern over something like this is the long lasting reliability over the "old school" V8s. The engine is certainly pumped up to deliver power but its a fat SUV not a sports car and really needs a low revving power plant. Especially if you want to tow something. I cannot imagine owning one of these outside of the full warranty either. Unfortunately the flat screen dash look like many other new cars now and I think make it look cheap. Sound is a big motivator for me and AMG had the best v8 sounds. Really a shame regulators f'd it up. Not liking the flat primer black paint either. Maybe the kids like it but I want my expensive MB to shine and reflect light and sound mean.

Hmm..a strange car that is too confused about what it is, what it is for and wondering if it can save the Planet. The matt black paint looks dreadful and is a fashion idea that is just awful….the interior is good but clashes in theme with that paint. I’m sure it drives well enough and I like PHEV’s but as you say, it will bite later owners when it goes wrong….this s a car for Warranty Cover use only! 😱🫣🫣🙂🙂🙂

Hello Anna again!!! Yeah, the 4 cylinders is not what the costumers want, but they did an excellent job with the technology to bring it to the surface. Of course is not only an engine what MB is selling you but a package of design and tech. So, this combination makes the disadvantages of engine a little less fail. But I agree with you that the V8 is ideal heart for that beast. The presentation in from of you is very good with the screens having a great definition and the second version of MBUX which is outstanding. Also those seats have all sort of combinations and massages that make you forget that you are driving in a long run. Let's see where MB is going forward with the changes due to the electric battle and disappointment that buyers are having with the batteries. I tested the EQC, EQA, EQB and the EQE. Only the EQE makes a big smile in my face not only for the comfort but for the range. Qué ojazos tienes tan lindos!!! Have a great time and don't be good, just be careful!!!

Thank you Eddy ❤ I couldn't agree more, they've tried, they've shown the technology, but realised it's not what the customers want. I think it was a similar situation with BMW i8. They have shown their skills but somehow somewhat, it wasn't "it". I think Mercedes has some homework to do with their EVs, the batteries are not the greatest, the range is average at best, the charging patchy. Even Kia/Hyundai offer more when it comes to the range/charging speed. And that is not acceptable. After all, this is part of luxury when you're buying an EV.

Very entertaining indeed. Hard to believe in that weight value, the whole jumps like a gazelle or a cheetah, doing justice to the back impression, those perfectly proportioned... wheels and feminine, well rounded hips. Are the cylinders four? Hard to believe. I retain the number two. Litres? Well, it doesn't matter, they are in perfect shape. I'm sure that the traction comes from the rear and has a tremendous grip. The visibility seems perfect, even keeping the eyes off of the road Any colour fits. The orange/red also... Pure fire. A flammable fire.

Excellent review, car looks ok liked it in the so called coupe form of the previous model, 4 cylinder just not right in a vehicle this size, not about BHP how it sounds and feels when delivering that performance, Audi and BMW just bringing out V8’s in their top models RS6 and M5, keep the four pot for A45 size cars, love the orange dress and how it got shorter as you accelerated lol 😛

It's probably fine, for a one or two car family, but a bit too much for one that sits in the garage 'just in case'. Also, probably too much power for when you actually need a 4x4. I'm disillusioned with Range Rover, so need something suitably luxurious, and a proper 4x4, because it's rarely used except in adverse conditions or when muddy fields are a possibility. It's a tricky one. P. S. Would've watched sooner, but Hamilton just started driving Senna's McLaren around Interlagos, when the notification popped up!

Nice to see you again already Anna! I think this Mercedes model is nice except for the matte paint. I love it it shines on a glossy varnish. These laddhtbrids and EV, will go to the grave. People have realized that they have been lied to by the politicians about how good these are for the climate, that's right, but they have kept quiet about the destruction of the environment by these vehicles, with all these opencast mines that are about to be opened. Looking at the UK, according to Shmee 150 it costs more to charge an EV than it costs to refuel his Ferrari Purosangue. Since then, more and more car manufacturers have had problems with no one wanting to buy them or switching to fossil-powered cars. The car battery manufacturers have the same ptoblem. It will probably be the case that you have to rethink and invest in synthetic fuel instead.

476HP out of 2L used to be considered almost impossible, and certainly unreliable! Is it possible today, to get quite a bit more HP per unit liter out of such a small engine? Is it possible, and still have a motor that will be reliable for a long time (which in my mind should be at least 200K miles with good maintenance)? If an expensive engine has to be so stressed that it can’t put in a good service life without spending thousands of dollars to get it there, there must be others that can, or is this just another good argument for electrics? If this engine can reach 200K miles with regular maintenance, without major repairs, then it must be a good engine!

I guess, I would rather go for the new 2,5 l Mazda petrol engine with "only" 140 hp. Instead of a "pressed to the maximum" 2 l Mercedes engine. Here in Germany Mercedes has lost quite a bit of its' good reputation.
