$192k USD!! It just goes to show how the C8 Corvette with a rear-mid-engine V8 design is the sports car deal of the century! Not even Mercedes with all their resources building luxury performance vehicles could pull of such a feat. For GM, a brand specializing in basic transportation and trucks, to build such a vehicle is astounding. Motoman said it best on his channel: the C8 Corvette is a friggin' moon shot! A testament to American ingenuity.

C8 is an awesome sport car, but it plays in different league. I like the engine and I think as far as performance it will match this ( at least in straight line) but as far as fit and finish its not even close. You can make an argument and say that Tesla Plaid is great as well as it beats both but..... AMG makes awesome cars and this is a great example of one.

@@MattTheCarguy My C8 fit and finish is impeccable when you opt for the LT3 trim level. The entire interior is either leather or metal. Only switches are plastic. I owned an AMG C43 Cab before the C8. Loved the car, but fit and finish was slightly inferior to the C8 with lots of plastic in places and the Ashwood that would creak when you I pushed on it. I encourage you to find an LT3 Stingray or LZ3 Z06. I'm certain it will surprise you! And then you'll be surprised again when they tell you it's MSRP is cheaper than the GT.

​@@dash-ryanAsa C8 Z06 fan, I must say that this is a lot more special in every single way, the prices are identical too since you can't get a z06 without dealer markup. This is a way better car and looks way better. The other problem with the Vette is it is still viewed as American made compare to other exotics we have like the Venom and GT.

My question is can we fold the back to have more space boot instead of having the 4 seater? I mean almost no one can’t fit in the back seat, most people will just fold it. Sorry for bad English.

I dont think it folds. I did not see release in cargo area.

If you spec one with rear seats, yes it folds down giving lots of space.

@@MattTheCarguy I believe so. Personally I would spec one with the rear seats just so I have the extra space. It makes for a better daily driver. I'm going to my Benz dealership this weekend to test drive one. I'm considering a GT to replace my c43 coupe.
