So much comes down to personal preference. I tested this merc and bmw I7 and thought bmws backseating was much more luxurious than the s580. The rest is really up to what you like. More traditional car then the merc is for you. Like tech, and sportier car then bmw. Once I sat in bmw, I knew the bmw was for me. Both excellent cars.

Went from s560 to bmw i7. After seeing i7 and s580 in person, my decision was easy; the I7. Sportier and more tech. If you like a traditional looking car, then benz is for you. Both great choices.

Nice thorough review. The instrument cluster looks like it was glued onto the dash as an afterthought. The ridiculously big iPad looking screen suffers from the same problem esthetically. The C 63 is much the same. All the jumble in the interior reminds me of Frankenstein's monster. Performance seems great

Looks good. I've got a 2024 S580 on order (build date 4/29) at the moment. It's my third MB through Crown Eurocars, too. Small world. 🙂 My last two MBs (2014 CLS550 and 2021 E63S AMG) were both Lunar Blue. I love the color, but it's been replaced by Nautical Blue. I was sceptical, but ordered it for the S580. Your review is the first time I've seen it on the car (vs. a sample) and I like it. Can't wait for the new toy to arrive!

Well done, people that has never ever owned a Benzo has no clue that these cars are over all the very best in automobiles. People are afraid of the maintenance cost and the value will drop to $10,000 or less in 15 to 20 years the motor is stuffed in their you can't get your hands in there to do minor repairs, Mercedes wants the consumer to bring it back to them for the maintenance because they have special benz tools like a spark plug puller tool that looks like a long eating fork special tool $58.00 it's best to know how to fix small problems if you want to avoid paying $3,800 oil change once or twice a year. Open Hywy. Road car with me sitting in the back seat traveling across country.
