If you want an E class to ride as comfortably as an S class ( 5:57 )you have to order it with air suspension - which comes with 4 wheel steering - a $3400 option. The suspension is standard in the S class.

Lovely looking car. I'm not a fan of 4 cylinder engines in luxury cars though. I'd wait for the E450. I have a 2020 E450 wagon and it is a sweet vehicle. Very practical, nice interior and the twin turbo V6 engine has tons of power. Great review BTW.

My biggest kinda only issues with this car is the engine and the price. The C300 has 2.0 liter 4 cylinder 255ph engine. The E class has the same engine. I have a 2014 E350 that has a V6 300HP engine. The E300 was the eclass fuel economy car. Engine wise this is not a true E350 successor. The E450 will now have V6 375HP but there was already a E450 putting out 367hp. In conclusion there's no reason to buy the E350 other than size. Just buy a C300

Right, other than the E450 being an L6, not a V6. Since introducing the M256 inline-6 midlife in the W213, MB stopped making V6s.

The appearance of this vehicle is absolutely on point. It has the exact feel of what id expect if i wanted the e class, elegance, subdued, but well executed details. For sure though, i would only ever lease these vehicles.

Looks like they copied the 2018 5 series down to the headlights...The C class has the better interior of the s class. I think the old E class was better imo

@@pete23234 It does have a very 5-series vibe especially with the low, wide stance and small wheel gap. Very very sporty for a non-AMG! It also has details from the new S-class. It’s timely for MB to release an E that looks this way, as BMW has wrecked the look of the new 5-series. It looks like a Kia, not a BMW.

@@reddevil6585 while electronics actually make cars harder to maintain long term buying v8’s isn’t about long term maintenance. it’s about the feeling of having large displacement motors. listen to F1 cars from 2000 and today. no doubt the current motors are more efficient but they have no soul

@@mrgreen4688 honestly cost of ownership for 6.5 years wasn’t bad on per month basis Including depreciation, warranty & repair & maintenance Not including gas & insurance $500 everything put together a month Cus they used to be cheap to buy back in 2014 Bought 2007 with 52,000 miles $25,700 Plus 5,400 5 year warranty I live in big city so only 5,000 miles driving a year Warranty saved me couple times Traded it in $9,000 It was small dollar repairs plus warranty repairs it couple time Till last year of ownership which cost me $5,000 with expired warranty so got ride of it Also by end it was not just the dollar amounts it was the time too

Ben, beautiful color on the exterior. Would love to see this car with a V8 around 650 hp. Only concern which is not limited to this vehicle is the screens. The concern I have is that much like a cell pho.e or laptop they age quickly and you want to move on. Personally will stick with the buttons and dials in my MB 2019 GT S.

Looked at a 80k version today. I'm not really big, 5'10 around 195 and getting in and out of the rear seats was a chore. Also, seats look super comfy in vids but are hard and not that comfortable. Great build quality and classy looking though. I'm sure its quiet and drives nice but 80k is insane.

Its a mercedes so it will sell well on name alone but they seem kind of lost as a brand to me. AMG and the EQ lines seem really underwhelming right now, some 2024 model years aren't even out despite it being 2024. I like the the looks but this E class just seems like an overload on tech, some of which is completely unnecessary, to drive up the price. There was an interview with Mercedes people on another channel where the guy literally just said the goal is to make money when talking about adding options on to a model. This amount for a 4 cylinder 350 seems insane to me. I saw one at a local dealer for 80k. Oh well.

Wish you could test drive an e450 sedan. I have been looking at Houston area dealer websites for one for over a year and have never seen one. I don't think I have have seen any on the road either.

E450 4Matics are not at all unusual in the PNW, but the E350 is much more common. I have ordered the new E450 4Matic for delivery in early May - with air suspension and 4 wheel steering. Horsepower is 375 plus boost, with 0-60 in 4.7 seconds I believe.

I get 600 +/- miles on a tank. Hybrid. And zero to sixty in 4.1 seconds when i need it. It’s 3.0 and comfortable. I don’t consider myself stupid.
