I miss Minter so much. Granted it was under questionable at times circumstances, the defense shouldn’t be giving up 24 to Minnesota. I feel like I’ve come to the realization that Wink is just Don Brown with more zone and I feel like this is a terrible combo when we play Ohio State. A good passing attack will pick us apart and neutralize Grant and Graham like Texas did. The defense used to almost never give up tds in the red zone, now it feels like a team gets past our 30, we’re doomed. We’re a situationally bad defense all around. First and second down or any situation that’s basic, we’re fine, we’re a damn good defense. Get us in third and long, red zone, 2nd and short, good god it’s anyone’s guess. It’s a mix of teams seeing the fast ball and throwing to the vacant zone, not understanding the talent level(or lack thereof) and general confusion that slows them down. Jesse had these guys so well prepared they didn’t have to think, they could go out and put their aggression into one direction at a time. I feel like Graham, Stewart and Johnson have been saving Winks ass. Ntm Zeke Berry. It’s like if one of them aren’t able to create an explosive play or turnover, no other area of the defense can be expected to come up clutch.

Minnesota committed 3 penalties on that onside kick. The bogus call on Graham lead to a TD. Plus the catch before the half wasn't a catch. 10 points were made by Minnesota on bad calls. GO BLUE!!!

I’m glad Moore wasn’t happy. Yeah keeping the Jug is important and sure they’ll parade it because the students wanna touch it and celebrate but this is not a game to be happy about. Like there better not have been any celebration in that locker room after. That second half was abysmal
