I had one for 7 years, a good reliable car, never had an issue at all with it, I got it with 50000km and traded it with 270000km, the interior was still solid, the paint was shagged on the tailgate, but it did spend its entire life outside. Enough power for actually driving normally around town and on holidays. The CVT was predictable and unobtrusive. I averaged 6.5 l/100km (yes, i do keep an eye on things like that, used it for external sales travel) which is pretty good for such an old engine design. Very practical inside, towed a 15 foot fibreglass half cabin boat with no issues. I would buy one again in a heartbeat. If you can drive it reliably for a long time, no mechanical problems and keep it serviced on time. What more do you need? I would rather not have all the electronic crap anyway, at least these don't bing and bong at you every time you fart or pick you nose.

I have been driving a LS variant for the past 2 years and I am satisfied. It’s a fuss free and a simple car, much better than the newer Chinese alternatives. The interiors are old fashioned but they have added the right amount of features to keep it relevant. The exterior looks are best in class. The engine feels underpowered at low speeds, but is perfectly capable of cruising at higher speeds

There are heaps of ASXes on the road. They seem to be reliable. Personally I’d rather buy an ASX than a Chinese car selling at a similar price.
@zhanhonglu9038 ай бұрын
"Mitsubishi ASX's features and interior design are lagging behind Chinese cars by more than a decade. Its five-star crash test rating is also from six years ago. In China, Japanese cars have almost no market share left. They have been completely overtaken by BYD, Great Wall, and Geely. In terms of electric vehicles, Japanese cars have been thoroughly defeated by Chinese ones, and they will gradually be replaced by Chinese cars."
@zhanhonglu9037 ай бұрын
@@G.P.. Are you living on a different planet? Do you really think Japanese cars have good crash resistance? People have always believed that European cars are much sturdier than Japanese cars. Nowadays, Chinese cars have even better crash performance than European cars. Check out the crash tests of Chinese cars, and some videos of them rolling off cliffs where the families inside only suffered minor injuries. If it had been a Japanese car, it would have fallen apart long ago.
@zuukot76296 ай бұрын
No market for Japanese Car in China? That's simply because China subsidized it's domestic car brand heavily and make it hard for foreign car makes to sell. China's car are mostly good at cosmetic and entertaining features, not reliable. I have been driving Mitsubishi ASX, different variants for years. I don't need those entertainments and flashy interiors more than I need concentration on the road. Although I would prefer a digital speedometer, but I can always install a separate digital speedometer as there are good supply of USB ports in the variant I had.

My wife's 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed has the exact same steering wheel (and you don't need a key in a barrel to start it either), you'd think they would have updated that by now after 9 years.

My wife has had an ASX LS for a year. She drives it with a heavy foot and really likes it. It is a practical car, but the fuel economy has been poorer than expected, and personally I don't like the CVT.

G'day it's Steven here I enjoy all your Mitsubishi reviews, your banter is amusing, genuine and enjoyable. Ive been driving Mitsubishi vehicles since 1987, and I'm still a Mitsubishi owner today even though I've compared it with other marques. This is when we bought our Mitsubishi's 1987 Mitsubishi Sigma 1990 Mitsubishi Magna Elante' 1995 Mitsubishi Magna SE 1999 Mitsubishi Verada Ei V6 2004 Mitsubishi Verada Xi V6 2004 Mitsubishi Colt VR-X 2006 Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart turbo 2008 Mitsubishi Magna Advance V6 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Aspire 2013 Mitsubishi 380 VR-X V6 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR sedan 2.4l 2019 Mitsubishi ASX LS ( work ) NEXT OUTLANDER PHEV I can see the appeal of the ASX, its the Tardis of small SUV's and very reliable, also its a surprisingly good package overall. Unfortunately for Mitsubishi when joining the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance in 2016 i think it was, all R&D ceased and a decision was also made to stop selling in Europe too however thats recently changed. It takes years to develop new models and all these delays have impacted on new models, hence the age of the current ASX. Anyway boys, why didn't you access the higher grade models with the bigger engine? Too bad Mitsubishi dropoed the diesel and all wheel drive options on ASX. Lots of brand new Mitsubishi's on the horizon and I'm looking forward to your reviews.

"Siri, show me an example of lipstick on a pig?" After 15 years obviously the poor designers have lost all will to carry on. Our 2017 XC LS is imho a better looking and completely adequate vehicle. This new "Street" edition does not feel like 7 year's progress. Maybe it's time to put the old girl out to pasture, Mitsubishi.

I opted for an offshore trust due to its excellent tax efficiency and asset protection benefits especially for my international investments, after thorough research, I entrusted Julianne Iwersen Niemann, a skilled tax professional and active fund manager, years ago. Through this, I've also invested in properties in New Zealand and the US, benefiting from low taxes on both assets and property investments. Additionally, the inheritance tax advantage, particularly in the US, would be significant, given the comparatively high tax rates in that jurisdiction
