We love ours. Ride quality is actually very good and car is very quiet at highway speeds. Over taking power is far better than our previous 2018 Tucson. We test drove a CX30 and a Seltos and felt cramped in the smaller cabins. Very satisfied owners and struggle with the views of motoring journalists journalists on the car.

Have owned the black edition for 6 months and i cant fault it. Best 40k i have spent. Some people get so pedantic about some features, happy to own and drive.

I have a fully loaded 2022 model and I absolutely love it. SAWC makes the car dynamic and fun, the seats are very comfortable, sound system is great and I love that it has 8.5" of ground clearance. I think the engine is pretty good, especially at lower speeds, since the torque comes on fully at around 2000 rpm. The infotainment is meh, but at least it's easy to use, somewhat customizable and mine came with navigation that is imbedded with other features of the vehicle. I get compliments on the looks of the vehicle, pretty frequently. Overall, very satisfied and I would definitely purchase it, again.

i own 1st gen eclipse cross GT trim in Canada. This is a great reliable comfortable suv. Never disappoints me. Great in snowy slippery winter or hot summer. I highly recommend.

Just bought a 2022 vrx(top spec) here in NZ and its such a great car.. ours has heated back seats and double sunroof. We came from a cx3 mazda and this has so much more room for a family of 3.. yes if you're looking for the latest tech and best screens in the world, this is not for you but if you're like me and are looking for a reliable, around the 30k mark, plenty of nice features, nice to drive, comfortable, and more than enough room for 4 people medium size suv then this is for you.

40 yrs ago cars were simpler then & the human race survived. We’ve become so spoiled with technology it’s almost absurd really. While I embrace technology, I do miss those days.

cvt transmissions dont make noise, its the engine that makes the noise from constant revving. which is why some companies introduce simulated shifts to act more like an automatic, the simulated shifts cut the excessive high rpm. Mitsubishi , honda , subaru all use cvt.

Fuel economy for suburban driving conditions is nothing short of embarrassing for a small SUV with a 1.5l T engine. As they say, hindsight is a wonderful thing!

@@zaamuro8408Thankfully its not my car, its the Mrs. She has not seen a tank achieve under 10.3l/100km for Sydney suburban driving and has had the car over 4 months now and filled up multiple times. She does not drive aggressively and no matter how gentle she is on the accelerator, it doesn’t improve fuel economy. If she could achieve 9.1l/100km then that would be a win but 10.3l/100 from this car is a joke.

@@andrewgreen215 whats your definition of city driving and how many km are you getting from a full tank as 7.3l/100 in all honesty is hard to believe in driving condition where the car is constantly accelerating and slowing regularly.

Just purchased an PHEV aspire, so far pretty happy with it.. i choked a little dropping 65k but novated lease and FBT exemption work for us.. its a good step up from the old FG falcon and perfect for the chief who just wants a shopping trolley most of the time and doesnt need the full size sedan anymore (2/3 kids grown up now). driving dynamics are a little weird (but im the only one to notice, rebound control is ah.... "lightweight") but seem to be inline with most hybrid / EV's based on ICE platform vehicles.

What's the fuel economy like? I am considering buying the PHEV for the same reason (Novated Lease, zero FBT) but read reviews saying the fuel economy is terrible. Somewheer around 7.4l/100km
@vlfreak
@vlfreak 11 ай бұрын
@@HamadAziz-pf9eo I'd have to check to get the exact figures but when I drove it to Sydney and back the other day it's long term was on 2.9l/100 (it's got~8000km on it now), I think it short term avg (I reset it when I got in) was around 6ish/l 100 by the time I got home and 45 odd % EV driving (600km round trip over the mountains). Im from the world of 12-16, so I'm not fazed by 5~6 on a trip and 3 or so around town

Not bad but the two big negatives for me are : The CVT transmission and the price . And for that , it’s a NO for me. Companies just us CVT as it’s cheaper than a regular auto transmission , to cut costs and maximise profit margins . A CVT is not a nice to drive as a regular auto and does not last as long .

Dear car reviewers. A space saver wheel on an SUV is a fail. There is no excuse for a car manufacturer to put a space saver in a soft roader. Space savers are a terrible idea all round in just about any rural setting.

These are bargains used, which makes a compelling case for itself when you can get an LS+ thats one year old with 20k km for less than a new base polo.

Is there any "perfect" car? In Europe you get 162 HP which will make some sort of difference. I think for this kind of money you get something very reasonable with great gueanty and quality.

they really just need to make all trim using LED headlights I mean come on using yellow halogen is just so outdated...the ASX all has LED now from the low end of spec till the high end, same thing with outlander as well.

poor australians, in the US the eclipse cross, from the low end to high end ( all trims level) are equipped with LED headlights. I guess by the Japanese, you are just a step child lol

All ASX should have a digital readout', rear air vents and a full size spare wheel. The servicing cost of all Mitsubishi vehicles is a rip-off.
