!000 used to be a very common event in Canadian college track. Arop is looking awesome going toward the Olympics.

I think at the end, Arop looked down for the lights and stepped on the rail of the track, lost half of a stride doing that and missed the record right there.

This has to be the hardest distance in all of track. The 800 is the hardest regularly run distance and I will die on that hill, but another half lap would be absolutely excruciating.
