This amazing talent in the span of 4wks from 10 Jun - 6 Jul '17 ran an incredible 19.84, 9.94, 30.81 & 43.62 back-to-back & then went on to almost pull off the rare 200/400m double @'17 London WC missing out on 200m Gold by just 0.03s :( Looked really good for most of last season since coming back from that terrible injury running 44.08 & 44.17 in the lead up to Budapest WC before finishing 3rd in his semi & 7th in the Final :( At almost 32, would love nothing more than to see both Wayde & Kirani dip under 44s once again & hopefully get back on the podium again 🤞

It's unfortunate because we all wonder what could have been. I am not counting him out, though. He seems to be a man of true grit. He did amazing things. He has medals and will forever be in the history books
